A new day, a new start! Leave your room with freshness and new energy. Cid, now back to being master, will make a quick announcement. After drifting around aimlessly for a while, the garden now successfully crashed into a village which is located in the middle of a bridge which goes across the ocean. You can leave the garden via the second floor balcony. Not the incredibly slow elevator which you need to use in order to go to the village. I hate it with a passion every time I go there. Explore the village before you visit the mayor, because there are some nice things you can get! First of all, right next to the elevator (to the left side) you will find a ladder which you can climb down. It's a bit hard to see, but it will be worth looking for because once you climbed down, you will find an Occult fan III. It's on the WAY to the elevator by the way, not downstairs. Haha. Now you will have to go back up all the way. :D Down by the ocean you will find the Weapon shop; talk to the owner, upgrade your things, the usual. You should also talk to the fishing boy until he catches something, be nice! :) Check some draw points, buy or sell items in the shop if you feel the need to. Now you can pay the mayor and his wife a visit. Their house is in the village center; right in front of the giant amphitheatre... satellite..thing. (There's an Ultima draw point on the right side of the room, behind the pile of junk. It's hidden. Don't miss it!) Talk to him and his wife, and they'll introduce you to their infinitely peaceful life philosophy. Yes, you ended up in a village of hippies. Armed. Being soldiers on a mission to slay everything in their way. Don't you just feel welcome here?

After a lot of talking, follow the mayor outside and walk along the railroad tracks. Guess what, your old friend, the fighting machine BGH251F2 is back! But this form is a lot weaker than the old one and you won't have a time limit either, so the fight should be a LOT easier.

Now, wasn't that pathetic? I told you it would be! Lightning based attacks will work wonders, as usual; the same counts for Quetzacotl. Draw some spells from him and cast them directly. Keep your HP high, and you shouldn't have any problems. And after the fight, you will finally be reunited with your Missile Base- group! Isn't that a pleasant surprise! Before you leave the scene, walk up the northern stairs to find another hidden draw point. Now leave the town square and walk to the house on the right, you should talok to the "creator" who is inside and you should also find a "Timber Maniacs" nearby. The next Timber Maniacs- magazine can be found along the railroad tracks as well. So as you can see, this town likes reading.

Talk some more people and help them out for small rewards and a good conscience, then you can return to the garden. On the way back, talk to Rinoa, Irvine and Selphie who seems a little frustrated. Then go to Professor Cid to report the situation- and Cid will pronounce you the leader of the following mission. Does it surprise you? And your first and very meaningful task is to compile a music band for the upcoming live concert. Shibby! For some "secret" constellations on this, check the secrets page. During the concert you will be forced to talk to Rinoa again. Also pick up the girly magazine, it will come in handy later! Afterwards you can get some rest once more. Before you do that though, you should check some of the draw points which should have refilled by now and shop again. On the next day you will find Xu and Nida at the bridge, who will tell you that they now managed to control the garden. Great news, we can finally steer this thing now and explore the world! So make good use of it! I guess now it's time to tackle some sidequests, don't you think? Or of course, we could go right on with business. Next stop: Balamb city!
