Weapons

Unlike in other games, you don't constantly buy new weapons for your characters in FF8. Instead, you upgrade those you have by reading weapon magazines (see magazine page) and bringing some money and the required items to a Junk Shop.

Squall's Gunblade

Shear Trigger	An improvement in power over the Revolver, Shear Trigger uses the same blade as the Revolver, but the gun aspect is now more powerful.	April	+ 4	255%	Steel Pipe x1, Screw x4	200 gil
Cutting Trigger	This Cutting Trigger is the latest model of gunblade, made by replacing the blade of the Revolver with the powerful Cutting Sword.	May	+ 10	255%	Screw x8, Mesmerize Blade x1	400 gil
Flame Saber	The Flame Saber git its name from its red blade. This gunblade is very smilar to the Shear Trigger. The only difference is that it has the Cutting Trigger's handle.	June	+ 12	255%	Betrayal Sword x1, Turtle Shell x1, Screw x4	600 gil
Twin Lance	The Twin Lance is a gunblade forged with two blades. The two blades work synergistically to inflict severe damage. The only drawback is its heavy weight.	July	+ 15	255%	Red Fang x1, Dino bone x1, Screw x12	800 gil

Quistis' Whip

Selphie's Nunchaku

Zell's Gloves

Irvine's Rifle
