Gilgamesh


Location

Gilgamesh only appears if you got the GF Odin before the end of Disc 3. At the end of Disc 3, during a battle with Seifer, Odin will appear and be killed by Seifer. Gilgamesh appears for the first time here. He can't be controlled and appears in battles randomly, unlike Odin he can also appear during boss battles, and at any time of the fight (not just in the beginning). Corresponding to his four swords, he knows four attacks:

  • Zantetsuken: Slices the enemy in two. (Reminds of Odin's attack.)
  • Masamune: Damages all enemies.
  • Excalibur: Also damages all enemies, but causes less damage than Masamune.
  • Excalipoor: 1 HP damage to all enemies.
