How to play Rules Level 1-5 Monster cards Level 6-7 Boss cards Level 8-9 GF cards Level 10 Character cards

Okay. It seems that you didn't understand how to play Triple Triad, so here's a step-by- step guide for you. A sample game. Really, really slow for all those, uhm, slower people out there.

First step.

As you can see, I'm playing with the Open- rule. This means that both players play with all cards visible for the other player. Did you understand that? Good.

Now, I chose my hand. It consists of Edea, Selphie, Seifer, Zell and Quistis (mwhahahaaa!!) and my opponent's hand, well... a Tonberry, Funguar, Gogue Seal, SAM08G and Granaldo. *Nelsonlaughs*

My opponent started and placed his Gogue Seal in the top left corner. Which is pretty stupid of him, because his 7 is touching the wall and is wasted. So now it's my turn. I choose to place my pwecious pwecious Quistis to the right of his card, thus making it mine. Why? Because his card has a 1 on his right side, and Quistis a 2 on her left side. In case you haven't been paying attention at school: 1 is smaller than 2. 1 < 2. Thus, Quistis will beat his card. But only until he chooses...

Second step. This is getting boring.

...to place his stupid Granaldo under the Gogue Seal and winning him back. But that's okay, because now he exposed Granaldo's 2 at the right side of the card to me which is easy to beat. And once I have beaten him, the 8 at the bottom will protect him. Well? What do you think I'll do now?

Third step. I hate writing image alternatives.

See? Flipped everything. Uh, the image says it all. My cards are protected, there's nothing that could beat them. And we're not playing with any fancy rules like Same or Plus, so I have nothing to be scared of. Now, it's my opponent's turn.

Fourth step. Nice weather today isn't it?

Uh, I think he gave up already and is now randomly placing his cards. All the strong numbers are facing the wall and are wasted, and the weakest number is unprotected. An invitation for me to attack.

Fifth step. I need a new wallpaper.

I like invitations. My Seifer- card too. *flip*

Sixth step. Zzzz....

Hmmm, he placed the Tonberry in the lower- left corner so there's at least ONE card I can't flip. How cute. Well, let's end this quickly. No matter which card I'll place where now, I'll win.

Yay, I won.

And as you can see, I did. Now, I lied to you. I WAS playing with a fancy rule. The Full- rule, this means that I'll gain all of my opponent's cards as a new addition to my deck ^^ ...bah, they weren't THAT good anyway.

I hope it's clear to you now how this game is played. For special rules, see the Rules page. And I promise that the next time I'll make a step- by- step guide, I'll be sober. Well, I'll try to be.
