When you reach the gap, drop down, and you'll see a switch covered in ice. Tornado Jump to break the ice, then Tornado Jump again to activate the switch, allowing you to cross the gap. |
| Keep going until you see a solitary brick. If you use Watt, you'll be able to see a hidden chest above the brick. Tornado Jump to reach the block, which contains an Ultra Shroom. |  |

In the next screen, you'll find another gap. Drop down, and you'll see a Pebble. Grab it, leave the screen and come back. The Pebble will return. Grab two more Pebbles. |
| After collecting Pebbles, climb up the stairs and reach the switch by using Kooper. |  |

Uh-oh, it seems an imposter Kooper has appeared! You have to pick out the imposter and hit him with your hammer. If you hit the wrong one, the two of them will engage in a fairly humorous battle, and you'll have to re-pick the imposter. After hitting the imposter, you'll find out he was a Duplighost, and you'll have to fight him. It's not a tough battle, don't worry. |
| Continue to the right, and you'll see steps going up and to the left. On top of these steps is the last Super Block, so use it to Ultra Rank your last party member. |  |

To the right of the Super Block are some nice items in the wall. If you take them, walls will appear, preventing you from passing. The thing is, the walls don't care WHICH items that are there, so replace the items with Pebbles to continue. |
| When you reach what seems to be a dead-end here, drop down the cliff, and head into the cave on the right. |  |

It will look like another dead end, but you'll be able to walk right through this wall. |
| You'll meet up with Merlar, Merlon's ancestor. After a quite lengthy conversation, she will give you the Star Stone. |  |

Although it may appear you are trapped down here, there is a staircase leading back up hidden here. |
| Place the Star Stone in the star-shaped indentation in the wall, and a staircase leading up will appear. |  |

Climb up the stairs, and on the first ledge you can reach, you will find the Mega Jump Badge. |
| Continue up the stairs, and off to the left you'll find this Save Block. If you drop off the cliff here, you can also find a Star Piece. |  |

Continue to the right of the Save Block, and you'll reach the Crystal Palace. |
