Begin walking back to the hub, and you'll be stopped by a very confused lakitu... |
| You'll have to fight him. Although he has more HP than a regular lakitu, he isn't much harder. Just pelt away at him, and you'll win. |  |

It seems his real name is Lakilester...Lakilulu, his girlfriend, will come down and ask you to spare his life. When you agree, Lakilester will join your party. |
| Go back to the hub, take the northeast path, and ride on Lakilester to this column. Now Spin Jump on it, then go to the purple column and Spin Jump on that, then ride back to the left, and Spin Jump on the red column, then the green, then go back to the right, and Spin Jump on green, then purple to make it past this puzzle. |  |

When you see the springboard, hop on it to reach a Super Block. I STRONGLY suggest upgrading Lakilester now, because he isn't even at Super Rank yet. |
| Fly across the hole above the springboard now, and Spin Jump to reveal an easily missed Star Piece. |  |

Now continue along the path to the right until you are faced with three lakitus and a Y Magikoopa. Use your strongest multi-hit attacks to finish this battle off quickly. |
| Now wail away on the cloud machine with your hammer, starting from the left side, and moving to the right. Eventually, it'll bust open, and the clouds will disappear. |  |

Return to the hub and go to this patch of dirt. Now use the Fertile Soil, Magical Bean, and Miracle Water in that order. |
| A magic beanstalk will erupt from the ground. Hop on the leaf, and it'll take you to Cloudy Climb. |  |

The first thing you should do is head up and to the left, and ride up a small cloud to reach this S. Jump Chg. Badge. |
| Now go to the right and you'll encounter Huff N. Puff. He's not as scary as HR Puff-n-Stuff, but he's close. Whenever you inflict damage on him, he sheds Tuff Puffs. He can inhale the Tuff Puffs to restore any damage you deal to him. Basically, have Mario attack him with a strong attack, and then have Lakilester use Spiny Flip on him, which will destroy the Tuff Puffs. Either way, this will be a tough fight, so be prepared. |  |

After you win, you'll rescue Klevar, the sixth Star Spirit, and Chapter 6 will end. Only one more Star Spirit to go, Mario! |
