Return to the hub, and take the Eastern path again (where you found Petunia). Head to the screen to the right of Petunia, and throw down a Blue Berry. You'll get a Flower Saver Badge for your trouble! |
Now go back to the hub and take the western path. You'll have to appease the Blue Flower with a Blue Berry to get past the gate. |

When you arrive at the hedge maze, you'll have to fight two lakitus. After defeating them, you'll have to navigate the maze. Take the upper path, and continue to the left until you see a path leading straight down. Walk THROUGH the hedge here, and go down, and then right. Then loop around, and walk through the hedge that's tightly circling a pipe on all sides. It's not as hard as it sounds. At the exit, you can walk to the right to find a coin block. |
To the left of the hedge maze is Rosie. She has the Water Stone, but refuses to give it to you unless you give her something even more beautiful. |
Take the southeast path again and talk to Posie. She'll give you a Crystal Berry to give to Rosie. |
Rosie will accept the Crystal Berry, and give you the Water Stone in return. |
Plug up the drain near Lily with the Water Stone, and her pond will refill with water. |
Lily will give you some Miracle Water, but remind you that you won't be able to grow anything yet, because the sun isn't out. |
In the pool to the left of Lily, swim out to the island, and hit the tree to collect a Bubble Berry. |
Take the northwestern path, and give the Bubble Plant a Bubble Berry, so you'll be able to get across the thorns. Then backtrack along the upper path to get a Star Piece. |
Continue to the left, and when you reach this rock, blow it up with Bombette, then drop down the hole to find the Mega Smash Badge. |
Keep going left until you reach this tower. Walk around to this entrance to the Tower, and blast it with Bombette. The staircase will fall, allowing you to climb. |
At the top of the tower is the sun, who apparently looks like an owl. The sun will explain to you that he can't fly up to the sky, because there is some sort of cloud making machine. Looks like you'll have to smash that machine, Mario... |
