You'll immediately encounter a Putrid Piranha guard, who will see you and alert your presence to his boss. Joy. |
You should equip the Ice Attack Badge you found in Shy Guy's Toybox. It increases your attack power against fire enemies, and allows you to jump on them. When you reach the next area, it'll be covered with lava. As Kolorado demonstrates, the lava hurts, so try to avoid falling into it. Just be careful on the moving platforms and you should be fine. |
In the next room, you'll have to ride down another pulley. After you let go, you'll see a room to the right. Go into it. |
There'll be more of those "fire bar" things that you saw in Koopa Bros. Fortress. You can still jump-rope over them for coins if you want. Anyway, at the end of this room is a Super Block. You can now Ultra Rank a character. |
Go back into the pulley room, and take the time to collect all the treasure you find. |
Right now, there's nowhere to go but down. So go down until you reach the second pulley. |
Start riding the pulley, and jump off. If you jumped off at the right point, you'll find the Fire Shield Badge, which reduces fire-based damage. I suggest you equip it. |
At the bottom of this room, head into the room on the right. You can't cross the lava river yet, so use Parakarry to get across the top part. Push all three blocks into the river, and it will slow down enough to allow you to fly across it. |
In the next room, push both blocks into the lava, and climb on top of them, and have Parakarry fly you over the river. |
You'll be able to reach the Ultra Hammer now. With this, you can break the strange-colored metal blocks you've been seeing. |
