Note: If you want to do ANYTHING before your final mission, do NOT head to the helipad (Zero's near the door). Once you go through there, you won't be coming back for a while, so use this time to go get any and everything you may have missed in ANY level along with any shopping, leveling up, and figure grabbing first. When you're set, head to the heliport to head home... NOT!

Yup, you've double-crossed by your commander (well, if you've been keeping track with what's been going on, it's not been TOO hard to know who was likely going to betray you... Anyhow, now it's time for payback, since I know you'll want to after all that crap you had to go through earlier. When you get back in control of the team, make use of the Save Point, but you can't go to Central Tower since Redips has it under his control. Would've been nice though. The General Salesman is here, so you might want to pick up some Backups and some of the Megas elements, but save your cash for the door ahead. The trio of girls from the Lagrano Ruins are back with some new stock, so I'd suggest getting the high-powered Elemental weapons (and the Shock Lance Beta for Massimo and the Manhunter for Axl). The Gain WE+10 Force Metals will also be good for X and Zero, but make sure you have some Neutralizers to keep their resistance up.

If you want to build up some levels (as well as some cash), you can do so in the northern hall, because it has B Bladers and Deerballs (see note after this paragraph for more information). However, once you go through the northern gate at the end of the hall, your path will be blocked again.

Note: You've faced B Bladers before back in the first X games (they've been in several of them) which have pestered X since his first times of being a Hunter (and Zero too!), but this time, they're a bit more useful, as you can use them to level up quite nicely. On the B Blader's first turn, it'll summon a pair of Deerballs. If you destroy these before the B Blader's next turn, it'll summon them again (I've gotten six or so pairs outta the B Blader before it's run off). You can hit them with EXP+ and Zenny+ (on the B Blader only) to really rack up the EXP gaining. It's a slow, but safe, way to level up, so do so if you think you're not ready for the next challenges.

Take the elevator up and switch your Weapons to Fire and your defense to Electric before you head through the door. Why? Well, you're about to see.

Whoa, whoa, whoa... What's Jango doing back?! Well, you might've guessed this, but this is the same as when you'd have to fight the Maverick Bosses to get to Sigma.

*WARNING!* Wild Jango

Jango's stats have risen quite a bit since the last time you've faced this bad cat, but then again, so have yours. If you want to start putting the hurting on him, open up with Hyper Modes. You'll get to restore them in just a bit (plus, X'll do WAY more damage in his Ultimate Armor than X Fire (even though technically, X Fire has the better advantage against Jango).). He also has the Hell Gravity and Code Breaker moves, so watch out for those as well. For the rest of the stragety, I'm copying what I put in the second chapter. Jango is fast, and I mean FAST! He'll get even faster as the battle goes on, so you'll want to take him out quickly. He uses Thunder-based attacks and likes to inflict the Virus status on your characters. This is like Poison, so use a Vaccine Program or Cure One to cure it. He also has a move that'll reduce the Hunters' Speed and increase his Speed by 10. He can inflict Bind as well, so be wary about that.

How to beat him: Thankfully, Jango's weak against Fire attacks, so if you got the items I suggested earlier, you're all set. There's only a Boost Power to steal this time, so after you get it, have some fun with Axl and his Hyper Modes, Action Triggers, and the Bait/Reverse Thunder combo. Just make sure to have Axl heal the others when necessary. If you're fast enough, have Axl turn into Jentler to knock him down some. I wouldn't suggest Incentas, since you never know what elemental form he gets. It won't be easy, since he'll still use the Rolling Thunder and get in multiple hits, so keep pounding on him until he goes down, and you're one more Build Power up.

You gotta wonder how Jango came back, but then again, Axl has an idea, but you can't ponder on that right now, so take the elevator to the Telaport Terminal. The door to your west at the first intersection has an oasis: a Nurse Reploid to heal your LE, fill your SubTanks, and recharge your Hyper Modes! Very handy indeed. In addition, the General Merchant is back as well, and there's a Save Point here too! Use this area to your leasure, since you can level up and heal here as much as you need (and especially between Boss battles). Head north to claim the Tank Parts, Build Hyper, and two Figure Tokens. Check out the purple curtains to see a Boss blast from the past. You'll be facing them one more time to open up the door beyond them.

Note: While I was here, I went on did some leveling up. Even though you've fought these guys before, like Jango, they're a lot tougher, so it wouldn't hurt to build up some levels... especially before you get to the last few bosses in this area that is. I would NOT go on past this area til you're at least in the high 60's to low 70's. Trust me on this.

For those who don't know who's behind which one, here you go:

Curtain direction Boss
Southwest Silver Horn
Southeast Mad Nautilus
Northwwest Mach Jentler
Northeast Incentas

Since you've fought these in the past, refer to the sections with each boss's section, and remember, especially if you have the Ultimate Armors, to consider using them in the battles as well, since you can recharge 'em afterwards. Go all out with everything you got, since these are some of the final battles with these bosses. I'll put what you win from each of them here as well.

Enemy Prize Won
Silver Horn Build Armor
Mad Nautilus Build Shield
Mach Jentler Build Speed
Incentas Build WE

With all the bosses defeated, the door opens to the next elevator. Take it up and prepare to meet the Gate Guardian, Depth Dragoon. Be warned. He's not water-based, as you'll see in a moment.

*WARNING!* Depth Dragoon

If you thought he was water-based and loaded up on Thunder weapons, kiss your party good bye, because this guy uses Thunder like nobody's business. He also likes using effect moves like Boost Power and Electromagnetic Field, and his Thunder Clap can force a party member's turn back a couple of times! His Destructive Charge also hits everyone in the party.

How to beat him: As stated before, he's Thunder-based, so that means making sure to have all the Thunder defense you can (even if it means adding a Neutralizer on someone who has the Reverse) as well as Fire Offense. Here's another one you can use the Bait + Reverse Thunder combo on (which is fun, since he can heal up your character quickly). X and Zero's Ultimate Armors are recommended, but I used Absolute Zero and X Fire to take him on. After all, X Fire has got a type advantage against Dragoon, does it not? Steal from him to get the Beast Lancer, Massimo's best weapon. He also tends to waste turns using Boost Power once he's already fully powered up, so make use of that to give him some extra pounding. If you've got Axl (why wouldn't you?), have him turn into Jentler to really knock the socks off of Dragoon. Once you proven that you're better than Dragoon, he gives up a Build LE as well as the Force Tomahawks sub-weapon and some of his DNA for Axl's Action Trigger!

Before you go through the door behind Dragoon, I'd suggest healing up, because once you go through that next door, there's no turning back. Make sure to take some more time leveling up (I CAN'T stress this ENOUGH), because the enemies in this area are a real pain in the arse, but not as bad as the one you'll be facing soon. When you're set, go through the door behind Dragoon and take the elevator up to the Final Gate. There's a Save Point here as well as some goodies in the acloves: 5000 FME, 10,000z, two Figure Tokens, a Cure All, a Backup, a Gain Hyper, and a Tank Energy 100. The door ahead is Redip's quarters, and he's gone looney, saying things like "I am the ruler of all Reploids." and stuff like that. Heh. I'm glad when X says, "You... you... Maverick!" Time to kick the betraying Colonel's ass, don'tcha think?

*WARNING!* Redips

Just like several of the ones you've faced in the past (Jentler, Psyche, and Botos), Redips also summons helpers: Red Hubcaps (remember these from the cutscene just before this mission? Yup. THOSE things.). Not only are these things incredible annoying, but as soon as you destroy one of those buggers, Redips summons ANOTHER one! Fun! Redips, meanwhile, will block most of the time (kinda like the Preon S Faces), but he has some powerful attacks, including Codebreaker, so be prepared to defend against that as well.

How to beat him: Well, the best way to defeat Redips is Hyper Modes, but you'd best have a stragety for it, since Redips will block reducing the effect of the attacks. Destroy a Hubcap to make him waste his turn restoring them and then pound on him. Make sure to steal from him as well, since he carries the Rei Ichimonji. It'll take a while, but once you've shown Redips who's the boss, he'll leave a variety of items including a Tank Energy 10, Limit Buster MKII, or a Beam Sword (though in his boss section, it only shows the Beam Sword).

Well, you're not done with Redips just yet, but he DOES have a surprise that I bet you've figured out. Like Axl, he's a shape-shifter, and he's got a familiar form as well that you've seen for a while (hint: Spell "Redips" backward to figure out who he is). After that, he'll escape, so give chase! In the next area, grab the Figure Token. The next hallway is infested with those darn Red Hubcaps again, so either run or kill 'em, but don't take too much damage. Well, you can, since in the next area (after the door locks, that is), there's a Tank Energy Infinite in this area, so heal up and grab it. Head up the long hallway into the darkness ahead to face your final challenge.

Man! If you thought Redips was crazy earlier, you haven't heard anything yet! Redips will talk about being the "Ruler of the Universe" (yea, he's lost it). He also calls himself "The Great Redips". This is the final battle, so be prepared!

*WARNING!* Great Redips

There's a lot of bad news from this guy. First, his LE is 999,999! That's almost 1,000,000 LE! Second, he's got two pieces of Supra-Force Metal attached, and as long as those are active, he regains LE like no one's business as well as has a pretty good defense. He also attacks all the party and can do numerous status attacks like Virus, Freeze, and Beserk, which is no fun. Let's not forget about the Supra-Force Metals he has on his shoulders. Not only can they help Great Redips, but they can attack with powerful elemental attacks to boot. Oh, and Redips gains back all the damage (if any) you've done to him.

How to beat him: As stated before, it's a bit hard to damage Redips with the Supra-Force Metals activated, so instead, target THEM. They each have 4600 LE, which is rather weak, but whittle them down at the same time. They'll also regenerate after a time, so be prepared for that. Redips also holds a SFM Fragment Alpha, and the Supra-Force Metals have a Neutralizer -10 and Neutralizer -20 each. Once you've plucked the SFM Fragment from Redips, keep wailing on the Supra-Force Metals with shot attacks until both are destroyed. After you've destroyed the Supra-Force Metals a few times, Fehram takes one of the Supra-Force Metals from Redips. NOW it's time for Round 2!

How to beat him (part 2): Now that Redips has only one Supra-Force Metal this time around, his stats take a hit, but the bad news is that whatever damage you took during the first round is still there, so make sure to heal up. Once again, take out the Supra-Force Metal with shot attacks (or combat attacks augmented with a Hawkeye subweapon) to take it out. Once it's down, cut loose with the Hyper Modes to do some MAJOR damage to him. Don't forget to steal from Redips again, since he has the SFM Fragment Beta this time around. If you didn't get what was in the Supra-Force Metals last round, don't worry. They're still there. Keep at him and make sure to heal and restore Hyper Modes asap.

Once the Great Redips falls, it's time to watch the final movie. Congradulations, Hunters, you've earned it. See the "How To Beat the Tail Clan" for the optional area after the credits end to find out your next challenge, and have fun! ^_^
