Soul Guides

You can get up to five Souls in the game. These Souls circle around you. They all operate automatically; you can't do anything to "activate" them.

Picture Name Effect Location
Soul of Magician Allows you to cast magic spells using the Y button. In the first Trial Room in the game.
Soul of Light Allows you to see in the Shrine of Light. Beat a lair in the Water Shrine in GreenWood to release a mole inside a mole hole. Talk to it to get it to join.
Soul of Shield Protects from the falling rocks in Durean in Oceania. Beat a lair in Rockbird in Oceania to release an angelfish at the lower right of St. Elles. Talk to it to get it to join.
Soul of Detection The soul will be surrounded by a field which is slightly off-kilter. Any Bombers or Spike Machines within the field will become visible. Beat a lair in the first Model Town in Leo's Lab to release a great door on the second floor (in front of the church-like room). Talk to it to get it to join you.
Soul of Reality The soul will be surrounded by a field which is slightly off-kilter. Any secret passages, lairs, or chests within the field will become visible. In Magridd Castle, beat a lair in the basement of the torture room, and beat another one in the Left Tower, to release a soldier in the lower-right house. Talk to him to get him to join you.
