Alunze Basement Horse Problem

The horse will do the exact opposite of whatever you do.
The first step to tricking it is to go under the warp.
Line the bottom wall to the left (or to the right , it doesn't matter).
Move up a little and you'll see that when you moved under the warp, it went into the chest's area, so when you moved sideways along the bottom wall, it couldn't get out of the area.
Keep going up and it will go down against the middle wall. If you walk towards it, it will walk towards you and you'll get into an easy fight. Kill the monster, the spikes will drop and the light knife is yours.
