Mission 7: The Muspel Army

Situation:

An attack! But by whom? And why?

Objective:

Annihilate all enemies.

Important Battlefield Events:
- If Bastion is defeated in this mission, you will be sent to Mission 9 instead of Mission 8.

Strategy
Good choice... but now it looks like the Muspel army doesn't give up easily! You'll have to take down all 9 soldiers in the Muspel Army (minus Radcot) to win this battle, and they are all fairly high leveled. Fortunately, they don't have a terrain advantage in this mission, so things should fare well.

See? Zeira fights like a Crazy Horse, and you should know from playing Final Fantasy 1 that a Crazy Horse is not a powerful foe.

Muspel 6 and 7 will be first to move ahead, followed by 8 and 9. If you are close enough, the 4 will surround you 4 ways, and that's bad. Don't move in too far from the beginning; instead, allow Zeira to move up to the top of the map, where he will beat up Muspels, eventually getting himself dizzy. Your job is to wear down the Muspels that come your way; take them down one at a time, letting your weaker characters getting the kills. This battle should be no problem at all. By this point, you should be around Level 10 for everyone.

Now that the mission is complete..

- You move on to either Mission 8 or 9, depending on your performance.

Now, save your game and load stats from the Options screen, and head to the Interview screen and chat away. Check the Briefing for an overview of what's next, and when you're ready, head to Mission 8: Dionne's Test, or Mission 9: Desert Escape.
