Mission 35: Rotten Radcot

Mission Overview
Situation:

Now the Muspel Nation is attacking us! And we were supposed to be allies! They have Sadira, and they're demanding we hand over the Gratia in exchange for her life!

Objective:

Save Sadira (if Sadira is knocked out, you lose the mission)

Important Battlefield Events:
- If Sadira runs out of HP, the mission is over.

Strategy
Sadira may be surrounded at the start, but that can be easily remedied. Avoid all of the Muspels attacks, not striking back (you'll get that chance later), then move her south towards the rest of your team. The problem is; EVERY Muspel soldier will get their turn before Sadira makes a move. 1-4 will attack Sadira, and she has to hold out until her turn. Counterattacking with Sadira will simply put your FP up, which will cause heavy damage. Concentrate on getting Sadira out of the tight spot she's in. Luckily, the Muspels will not surround her, but one of them will try to stop her movement with Quicksand. Should this happen, reset the battle and try again.

When you get your team together, huddle your team up and concentrate on taking down as many Muspels as you can as soon as you can. Be careful when moving to strike your enemies in the back; only characters with Flight ATACs (Franco, Halak and Sadira) will be able to do this without losing a bunch of AP due to the rough terrain. The best strategy for taking out the soldiers, as always, is to dizzy them with Turbulence attacks, taking them one at a time until they're dizzy, then bumping them off in their weakened state.

You could always run Sadira into the corner and have her attack from behind if you want to.

Take down as many Muspels as you can very quickly, because Duke Radcot doesn't stay stationary for too long. When he advances towards you, focus your efforts on him, as he is a formidable ally with Terra Shock, a very powerful attack with a range of 2! Wear him down with Turbulence attacks (Sadira should have Second Attack by now, for 2 Turbulences or Spiral Dives a turn!), and hit him as hard as possible with Spiral Dive when he's dizzy. Try to make sure he doesn't get a hit in, no matter what.

By the time Radcot actually makes it to you, you should be done with Muspels 5-9, with 1-4 advancing towards you. When Radcot is within Turbulence range, ignore the Muspels and focus on him. Radcot will most likely attack from the northeast, so position your team there and begin the assault.

With Public Enemy #1 (Radcot) out of the way, the rest of the Muspels shouldn't be a problem for your team. It's a tough mission overall, but you should be able to handle it without any casualties.

Now that the mission is complete..

- Bastion will gain control of the Ultragunner ATAC during the next mission!

- You move on to Mission 36
