In order to win the sacred stone Gratia, we have to defeat Dionne and his mercenaries in a five versus five elimination match. Winner moves on, loser is eliminated. We'll start with Claire; if she is defeated, then we'll have Franco fight, then Cecilia, then Sadira, then Bastion. Halak has a sore back, so she won't be participating.

Important Battlefield Events:
- You begin the battle with Claire. If she is defeated, you control Franco. If he is defeated, you control Cecilia. If she is defeated, you control Sadira. If she is defeated, you control Bastion. And if Bastion is defeated, you lose the mission.
- The enemy is Mercenary 1. If he is defeated, Mercenary 2 becomes your opponent. If he is defeated, Mercenary 3 becomes your opponent. If he is defeated, Andrew becomes your opponent. If he is defeated, Dionne becomes your opponent. Defeat Dionne to win.
- Your opponents always join the battle from the spot indicated on the map.
Strategy
Remember a similar mission on the Kingdom Branch? Well, now you're back, against the same opponents (though they have higher levels), but you get to use your whole team, one at a time, to try and win the battle. However, it is possible to get a Game Over in this mission, so fight carefully!
Since you are alone, team tactics will not work. The best thing to do is back against a wall and wait for your opponent to come to you. If the opportunity comes for a back attack, move over and take it. You must keep a careful eye on your FP at ALL TIMES; if it looks like you will become dizzy (when your FP is about 70 or so) walk as far away as you can and rest for a turn. This strategy will get you and Claire through your first opponent with incredible ease, and although the second one is a little tougher, you should have no problem taking him down. A rather mean trick when your FP is up high is to let your opponent attack you, and check his HP. If you can kill him with an attack that will jump your FP up to 100, do it. You'll kill the opponent, and begin the battle against the next one with 0 FP!
Your third opponent just might take down Claire, and it's no big deal if he does. Claire will almost certainly lose to your fourth opponent anyways. Unfortunately, even Franco will have trouble bringing Andrew down, what with Andrew's high evasion and all. The only thing you can really do is sneak up on him and use Wind Strike or Str. Slash over and over again. Just do the best you can, and work out twice a day.. I mean, take down as much of Andrew's HP as you can.
Cecilia will fare well against Andrew, because you've been boosting her DEX stat a lot (haven't you?), and she will hit him quite often. You might want to just strike him head on instead of from behind, for improved accuracy. It's quite hard to hit Andrew in the back. Cecilia should be able to take Andrew down, though she will be hurting at the end.
Dionne is an incredibly powerful foe, but there's a way to beat him. Don't bother sneaking up on him, as it's very hard to do with his Mass Menace skill. Instead, hit him once from a distance with Turbulence. Next turn, he will move in for an attack, which will be Bursting Fire. This move is incredibly powerful (enough to defeat you in one hit on full HP), but you can block it to reduce damage taken by a large number, or you can dodge it if you're feeling lucky (you should have a pretty good chance of avoiding it.) I've even managed to Counter it a few times.
Bursting Fire costs 80 FP, so Dionne has more or less shot himself in the foot with the dizzy rifle. Take this window of opportunity to pound on him with your strongest attacks, free from retaliation! You might want to hit him in the back though; he's been known to deflect attacks. I like to Spiral Dive him with Sadira, which does a LOT of damage. You may be able to take him down with Cecilia if you're lucky, but even if you have to get all the way down to Bastion to win the fight, don't worry. That just means he'll get the most EXP, and that's not really a problem.
Now that the mission is complete..
- Marquis Dionne hands over the Gratia, and a Flaros ATAC!
- Andrew gives Cecilia his Vedocorban ATAC!!!
- You move on to Mission 35
Before beginning Mission 35, save, load stats from Options screen and then Interview. I recommend putting Claire in the Flaros now, but make sure you bought a Ruby and a Slashing Iron as I suggested last mission. Check the Briefing for an overview of what's next, and when you're ready, head to Mission 35: Rotten Radcot.
