This is it.. the battle of good versus evil; the Prince of the Kingdom versus the new leader of the Empire! The battle that will decide the fate of the continent of Eptina..... too bad Faulkner brainwashed Bastion and made him evil. Ah well... it was nice knowing you, Eptina.
NOTE: DO not take this page the wrong way. Since the mission is a joke, the walkthrough page is a joke, too. Nothing here is meant to offend anyone, but merely get a few chuckles or laughs.

Strategy
Faulkner is ungodly powerful in this mission.. take a glance at his stats. And he's backed by some of the strongest combatants in the game. The situation looks grim.... for the Kingdom.
Good thing you're working for the Empire against your will, eh? Well, it's not that great knowing what will happen to Eptina, but it's pretty neat to be able to Splitting Smash your former friends and hear all their desperate cries in a feeble attempt to bring Bastion back to the light. I don't trust you with that Playstation controller, you sadistic bastard. That's right.. I can talk to you from here..
If you're having trouble winning this mission, you're a horrible Vanguard Bandits player the best thing to do is simply sit behind Faulkner and allow your team to take down his guards. Afterwards, they will approach Faulkner and attack, but the CPU controlled AI isn't bright enough to take Faulkner down. Once your old allies are defeated, you win the mission. If you can call it winning. Maybe you should have talked to your team members, you autistic bastard. Just kidding, just kidding... everyone has to get the bad ending some time or another for full completion.
Now that the mission is complete..
- Kingdom Branch complete!
- You don't unlock anything, because you're a conniving, traitorious... err, um.... dedicated player that will try to get the Good Ending, right? Hey, c'mon.. I was kidding!
And with that, I congratulate mock you. You have completed failed at completing a very difficult RPG, one that's even harder than the acclaimed Final Fantasy Tactics (and in this shriner's opinion, Vanguard Bandits is ultimately a more enjoyable experience and a bit better of a game.), and you have seriously screwed the Continent of Eptina for eternity. Hang your head in shame and wrap a noose around it. At this point, you may want to go through it again on a different branch, and I highly suggest you do because you suck and need to repent. The game is much different on the Empire and Ruin Branches where you can't royally screw up and get such a horrible ending, and it's VERY interesting much fun to see how the story develops on the other branches you mess up and play Vanguard Bandits like a one-armed, blindfolded monkey with brain damage. (why can't do you suck at EVERY RPG have this system?). Just make sure, MAKE SURE you load your stats after every mission, so that you don't wipe out yourself off the face of the Earth data.
You're not mad at me, are you? I was just trying to ENCOURAGE you.
