Pocket Park
When this chapter starts, after receiving your theme weapon, a Keyboard, you'll be transported to the house of Riho, the main character of Pocket Park, who has apprently fallen ill. But first thing you should do is loot the treasure chest here to find a Bus Pass. |
You need to talk to Miyako, one of the girls near Riho, while you're here. Do so and she'll mention visiting the city to try and find a cure for Riho's illness. Then she'll join your party. |
Before heading to the city, you should talk to the other girl, Kasumi. She will present you with a Phone Card, which you can use to call Wapiko from the Nakayoshi Phone. You can also call the heroines of the other manga as you rescue them. Ultimately, this isn't incredibly useful, but you might as well get the Phone Card for free, since it usually costs 1000 Peach to buy one in a store. |
After taking care of business in Riho's house, head to the south and ride the bus into town. Before you do anything else, you might as well check out the house in the southwest corner of town for an unguarded chest containing 500 Peach. |
In the northeast corner of town, you'll see a large, suspicious mansion, but it's locked for now. You'll also see a child being trapped by a monster. Defeat the monster and talk to the child to receive a Bus Pass. This will let you take the bus back to Riho when it's time, but before you return, you still need to find a cure for her illness. |
Also near the mansion is an invisible Beryl, which you can find after tripping over it, as pictured. |
West of the mansion, you can see the entrance to the park. Before entering the park, be sure to talk to this suspicious looking character, which is actually the God of Happiness, who will present you with a Shake. |
Visit the park and talk to the clown to make your way over the fence. If you need funds, the monster on the same screen as the clown drops 500 Peach and can be defeated multiple times, so it may be worth your time. Anyway, after floating over the fence, you'll only need to fight a single enemy in the park. After defeating it, grab the treasure chest near the pond (it contains Steelies), then head south and talk to this bald guy. He'll give you a key which will unlock the aforementioned mansion. |
The mansion itself is unusually easy to navigate. Just fight your way to the top. If you start getting low on health, don't be afraid to return to town and visit the hospital or buy some food. The enemies you defeat won't respawn. On the top floor is the Magical Medicine. |
With the Magical Medicine in hand, you can return to Riho by re-visiting the bus stop, assuming you already received the Bus Pass from the young child. Give Riho the medicine and she'll be miraculously cured. Another chapter down! |
