Riding a Juggernaut!
Oh my! Something's coming! .. just a huge juggernaut rolling along. Why not hitch a ride? |
A straightforward stage. As you beat the hordes, more appear. Standard procedure for certified adventurers, right? The first 'wagon' contains goblins. How I loathe you. Krush, Kill, Destroy. NEXT! |
Next wagon starts with more gobbos and some Gnoll Archer support. 2x 100 SP bags to grab. When done with the Archers, two waves of two Axe Gnolls appear, with Goblins doing a 2-wave rock toss and a 2-wave oil toss. Magic Missile should work here nicely, or have your frontliners prepare to block both the Gnolls' attacks and the ranged attacks. |
Continue on to the third wagon. Here, Hellhounds, Healing and a Haste Potion. Lot's of fun if you've never been granted Haste by an Elf. Haste, unfortunately, makes you character unable to pick items. Maybe the potion grants anti-cleptomaniac properties as well? The key goes nicely for a Thief-less party. Hellhounds flames' are annoying, as is ther immunity to fire-based attacks. Dispose of the hounds quickly. They also drop Rings of Fireball, so keep an eye out for those. |
Another Goblin wagon. *grumble* A Ring of Lightning Bolt and a Key for grabs. Go berserk, some Hellhounds come in for support, but shouldn't be too much of a hassle to handle.. OH MY, SOMETHING'S COMING! |
Now, I sure wonder how they detained this thing inside that small wagon. I really do. You, on the other hand, should concentrate on survival. The Dark Warrior is invulnerable to Lightning attacks, so keep those Bolts in check. It's strong enough to knock you around to the other side of the screen. It's also mighty enough not to need a 'get-up' animation. It simply teleports back to standing from a prone position. Recommended maneuvres include spamming small attacks that don't knock it down. Daggers and hammers should do the trick, while elves and thieves may want to spam their ranged weapons. |
Victorious, you probably fly off the juggernaut as it screeches to a shop. apparently, it also tosses you through the door of a shop located in Glantri. Sell stuff you don't need, preferably any extra weapons you've picked up. Save rings, those can be handy. 100 silvers for a potion. Exit when done. |
