Hacking List

This is a list of the codes used for hacking Nesticle save states in Musashi. If you do not yet know how to hack save states, click here for an explanation.

* For numerical values that can take more than two hexadecimal digits (numbers over 255), to enter in a number lower than 255, use the first two spots listed. For a number between 256 and 65535 (That is, numbers that would take between 3 and 4 digits to enter; IE your experience and ryo), you have to put in the first two digits in the second spot, and the last two in the first.
For example, let's say you want $10,000. That would be 2750 in hexadecimal. There is room for 4 digits to put in the money. But you must put the first two digits in the last two places, and the last two digits in the first two places (keeping in mind that each pair of numbers shouldn't be seperated or switched in order). So to get $10,000, you'd need to put 1027 in the spot for money. It's complicated and it takes a while to get used to

Magic

Although you have 15 spots to put in spells, remember that there are two places spells can go, into your battle inventory, or into your menu screen inventory. Warp and Purify only appear on your menu screen inventory. Cure appears in both, and the rest only in battle. You have a maximum of 7 slots in each inventory, if you add more spells than you can handle, they will still be functional, but you won't be able to read what spell you're casting...

* Spell is dummied out and useless
** Spell is dummied out but works the same as the item/weapon that shares its name
