8: Edo (Restore the world)
|
Shyna chooses to restore the world. Gehena states that
the
process has already begun, and that in 168 hours all attributes will be
neutralized. Megido appears, glad that his ideals have been
carried out. Har states that he won't allow the world to return
to its former state, and interfaces with Edo to stop the process.
|
Har sends Geluve to deal with Shyna and Megido. She
destroys
Megido outright, then reveals that she was waiting for this
moment. She was a prototype of the Messiah, and was cast aside
when Shyna was chosen. Now she wishes to have her revenge
against those who created the mutations, including Har. She
destroys the core of Edo, eliminating Har, then turns on Shyna.

Geluve creates a "chain" of Polly Peepers on one arm, and Specters on
the other. These are the basis of all of her attacks. She
will use them in tandem, making Reflecting her attacks
difficult. These chains also act as her weak point -
hitting them with attacks will damage her as it would with an enemy of
that attribute.
|
She will either toss a flurry of Pollies and Specters at you,
surround you with the "chains" and fire a barrage of shots, or create a
wave of either attribute. Your best chance to avoid damage is to
try
to avoid the first two attacks entirely, since you'll have a hard time
deflecting both attributes at once. The last can easily be leaped
over or Reflected.
|
|
|
Occasionally, Geluve will stop in place and summon more
Pollies and
Specters to restore her chains. This is a good chance to get in
close and attack - she won't counterattack when she's summoning more,
and she'll often have a few Pollies or Specters left for you to attack.
|
When she is defeated, Geluve will accept it as her due, and
sacrifice herself. Gehena will reveal that there is another way
for Shyna to fulfill her mission: she will have to process the
attributes in each life form manually. Shyna begins the 932,000
hour process.
Sit back and enjoy the
ending. Don't forget to save the game so that you get credit for
completing the path!
