Stage 8: Edo (Restore Edo)
|
Shyna will accuse Har of simply wanting her destroyed so that he
can continue to rule the world. Har states that the people are
happy under his rule. Megido appears and threatens Har, saying
that he tires of the state the world is in and that he should allow the
Messenger to fulfill her mission.
|
Gehena interrupts, stating that the
program within Shyna has
activated Edo, and will restore the world in 168 hours. Har is
horrified, Megido is glad, and Shyna is slightly panicked to find out
that the process is automated once she reaches Edo. Both vanish
as Edo starts up.
Edo then turns on Shyna, stating that she is an intruder and will be
deleted.

The next part consists of you riding
an elevator while several
energy cannons (of Normal attribute) blast away. Get to the left
side of the screen and activate your Reflect Attack, and you should be
safe for the duration. For the second part, stay on the left and
continue using your Reflector - stay out of the center of the triangle
entirely.
|
At the top you'll meet Clod. He'll explain that Har and
Megido were both created from him. He was an experiment in Edo,
split into two to compensate for the opposing Silhouette and Mirage
power within him. He states that once the world is recreated he
will become the new ruler, and cause suffering to all.
|
|
|
Naturally, Shyna doesn't want that to happen, so she is forced to fight.
Attribute: Silhouette / Mirage / Normal
Life: 5000
Spirit: 0
Credits: 30
Clod's attacks aren't a lot to see compared to Za-Zohar's, but they can
still knock you for a loop if you're not careful. He utilizes
Silhouette-attribute saw blades, Megido's Helping Hand, and orbs that
linger and will damage you continuously as long as you make contact
with them (but they can be destroyed with Parasite attacks).
|
Clod also utilizes "squids" of both attributes that will attach to
you and constantly inflict damage. Take them out before they can attack
to you. If they grab you, point upward and shoot repeatedly to
get them off before they do too much damage.
Finally, Clod utilizes small balls that will float around on the platform for
a short while, then extend into ropes that damage on contact. The
best way to avoid these is to stay on the very edge of the upper
platform; they won't be able to reach you out there.
From that point, just stay on the edge, blasting the "squids" as
necessary and firing at Har or Megido whenever the one opposite your
attribute appears. It can take a long while, but this battle isn't
overly difficult.
|
|
|
Once you defeat Clod, the game will end. Sit back and enjoy the
ending. Don't forget to save your game so that you get credit for
completing the path!
