This stage can be a piece of cake with a well-coordinated party, or a serious pain while soloing. The reason is that it's another boss fight only-stage. |
Dark Warrior 2 is a re-colored Dark Warrior with a very subtle difference. The huge sword he wields. Don't get hit by it; Most of the time, the hits will knock you a full screen's lenght away. The damage he deals with his blasts is reverted to "dark" fire, hinted by the fact these blasts burn you. Fire/Evil Shields up! |

The trick with a well-coordinated party: Remember the frost salamander? Well, this guy likes to take lots of damage from Large Burning Oils as well. Knock him down with a series of blows/spells and start dousing him with oils. |
Soloers shouldn't have problems if you picked up attack items from the last stage. The Djinn Ring and Bottle of Elemental should ease your fight a bit, but I'd save one or the other for the next stage. The Oil technique is slightly harder to execute solo. |

That should do it. You'll get your last chance to shop, so I'd blow my money on heals and whatever attack items found handy during adventuring. Namely, Oils and Hammers. |
