Cless Alvein: Quintessential youngish hero type. Wields a sword, a spear, or an axe as the situation might require.

Chester Barklight: Cless's taciturn childhood friend, a master at the bow and arrow.

Mint Adnade: A pure-hearted healer.

Klarth F. Lester: An older sage, whose life work is researching the magic of Contracting with elemental spirits. He helped to seal Dhaos away in the past.

Arche Klaine: A spunky half-elf who doubles as a witch. She rides around on a broomstick.

Suzu from Ninja Town is also playable in the PlayStation version of the game, but this shrine does not cover that version.

Dhaos: Evil of the evil. Nasty of the nasty. The God of War. That's about all there is to him.
