The Saiyan Assualt!

You start out with Goku and Piccolo, on Master Roshi’s (Kame) island. Go inside to get items. To the northwest of Roshi’s is a house with a farmer and a healing station with Bulma inside. You want to train to level 2 in this area then head north to the mountains.You should eventually notice a cave. DON’T ENTER IT YET! To the left of the cave is a shop and another healing station. Train here until you reach level 3 (Goku and Piccolo). Now head to the north where you should find a house between some mountains. Inside is Mr. Popo ,where he’s being attacked by saibas. You should be able to kill them easily. After killing them off you’ll receive the Gohan card. Now, remember that cave? Go to it! At the end you’ll find Raditz.

If you have any KI cards use Goku’s kamehameha (the attack with 8 KI on it) or Piccolo’s Demon Ray (the 10 KI attack a.k.a the special beam cannon) to do some real damage. Otherwise, just hit him with the rest of your cards. Eventually he’ll die.

What’s this!? A saiba? You’ll fight that kind of saiba again later on. Continue your path to the exit. Yes its Raditz. But the real one. DON’T FIGHT HIM YET! Get Goku and Piccolo’s levels up to 4. After you accomplish this save! There is a chance of them getting killed which you just can’t take!

Before you do anything in this battle go to your items and use the Gohan card. Give Goku a card with a weak defense. After Gohan attacks Raditz a new option appears. Choose it and Goku will try to grab Raditz. When he does you can do one of two things. You can kill them both instantly with the Demon Ray, or you can get Goku’s health down to 1-5 and heal him with a Kami card a few times to get him to level 7 and then kill them both.

After the battle Piccolo takes Gohan to train with him. Now you must fight Piccolo. Don’t worry if you get killed, there’s a spring that heals you. After you beat Piccolo you take control of Goku on King Kai’s planet. You must use your strongest cards to to beat the gravity. You must do this 3 times. After the third time you fight King Kai himself. King Kai is fairly easy since his BP is only 4000.

Arrival of the Saiyans!

When these two warriors land you’ll gain control of Piccolo and Gohan (Goku will arrive now if you leveled him up in the battle with Raditz). Now you must go and gather the rest of the Z warriors and if you don’t they’ll be slaughtered by Nappa and Gohan won’t have anyone to help him on Namek. Here are the locations of the other warriors:
Krillin: To the south of where you begin
Tien & Chaozu: To the far south by the ocean and a cliff
Yamcha: To the far left of where the Saiyans are standing.
You deffinetly want to level them up before you go fight them. Keep in mind, that after you've leveled them up enough, the random battles will temporarily disappear until you reach Namek. You might want to go buy some items (if your out of cash and using an emulator put in this game genie code for infinite cash 7E01B4FF) before you go fight. SAVE YOUR GAME NOW!!! There’s a chance that any of them can die!

Nappa is very strong if you don’t have Goku yet. If you do this fight is very easy. Use a KI card with the kamehameha to do some major damage to him. If not, have Goku use regular attacks. If you don’t have Goku, just use Piccolo and Gohan with the same strategy.

For winning you get the moon/tail card for Gohan. Goku now confronts Vegeta and they both fly off. REMEMBER WHERE THEY WENT! You’ll want to follow them later to get extra exp.

Vegeta is much stronger than Goku. So if you have some KI cards use the kaioken to bring your BP higher than his and use some regular cards. Once you gain control of Gohan and the others fly to where Goku and Vegeta are duking it out. DON’T LET ANYONE BUT GOKU FIGHT! This can be done by pressing the X button and choosing yes. You can either kill him now, or you can try to let him go Oozaru (the giant ape form) and try to kill him that way. If you want to go ahead and kill him use a Ki card with the kamehameha. To let him go Oozaru let the fight last a while. If he goes Oozaru use Krillin’s destructo disc to cut his tail off.

After the battle Vegeta retreats to heal. You’ll recieve the Vegeta card. Now, Gohan and the others depart for Namek.

Namek

Once on Namek fight until you grow a level. Use your radar and head north. You’ll find Frieza, Dodoria, and Zarbon. Go ahead and land (if your flying) to see a scene between Frieza, his men, and Dende. You will then engage in a "mini game".This is easy. Just dodge his blasts and you’ll be fine. Now that your safe take the time to heal if you have any Kames, Bulmas, or Kamis. Now look at your radar. There’s a dragonball to the north and to the southeast. Head to the one up north. There are two Nameks , Mai and Tsu, with a dragonball. Since you have Dende with you they’ll give you there dragonball and join you for a while. Now look at your radar and go to the southeast. You’ll see a cave. DON’T ENTER IT YET! You want to get your BP up to about 9000-10000. There should also be a village some where around there to the east or north east. Head back that way and check the pots in the houses until you find Dende's brother. If you don't then you won't be able to proceed further. After that. proceed through the cave. This will make an upcoming boss easier. There should be a healing station around there. Fight around there for a while so you can heal after battles if needed. Now enter the cave. This cave is a little difficult. Some of the capsules and holes in the walls contain items, while some explode, so be careful. You might want to use your radar to get around. It’ll be just a tiny bit easier to get around if you do so. When you obtain the six star dragon ball SAVE YOUR GAME! There’s a boss right outside.

If you raised your BP like I told you to this will be easy. If not reset. Use your strongest KI attacks and other cards to kill him off. If you want to use the Vegeta card go ahead. If not save it for this next boss.

After killing Kui Bulma will be in trouble, so head for the ship. DON’T GET TOO CLOSE TO IT YET! Train around the healing station next to the ship. Get their BP between 15,000-20,000. This can make the next boss easier. Now go to the ship.

If you got their BP up to what I told you to this will be an easy fight. Use your strongest KI attacks and cards. Go ahead and use your Vegeta card if you want.

After deafeating Dodoria Bulma appears and the gang flies off.

Goku and Piccolo in training

You now take control of Goku in his spaceship. Go upstairs to the gravitron. It’ll ask (if your not playing an english rom) if you want to train. Choose yes (the first one). Choose the gravity you want train on. I suggest training on 20 since you mastered 10 on King Kai’s planet. After you defeat the machine turn the gravity up a notch. Do this until Goku decides to rest. The scene then switches back to Piccolo on King Kai’s planet. The training is the same as the last time, only instead of fighting King Kai you fight Nappa and Raditz. Use strong Ki attacks to kill them both with ease.

Back on Namek

You now return to Namek only in a different area. Bulma stays behind and opens a healing station. Mai and Tsu will leave your party. Go ahead and fight until you level up. Then use your radar and grab the dragonball that’s in the middle of a hill. Check your radar again. There’s a cave to north with a dragonball inside. Go in collecting all the treasures along the way. When the path splits go to the right to find a fairy that will restore your HP and Ki. To the left is a another fairy. Speak to the one on the left. She’ll tell you that you’ll have to find some switches in another cave and she’ll open a path for you. Exit the cave and head southwest to find a cave on an island. You need to pull all the switches (I think there’s 6 in all). When you pull all the switches go back to the cave with the fairies. If you pulled all the swithches she’ll open the path , but if you missed even one you have to go back and pull all the switches again. Head through and into a room near the bottom of the cave.

Inside are two Namek warriors duking it out. Talk to them and you will join the battle. After the battle one of the Namekian warriors (Nail) will join your party. He has a BP of 42,000 so now would be a great time to level up. At the end of the cave, one of Frieza’s minions (it’s not Dodoria) stands in your way. You should be able to take him out easily. Once you exit the cave you’ll enter a field. You should notice a house on top of a hill. This is Guru’s house. Once you enter his house step into the middle of the pots. You will be taken to Guru upstairs. He will raise everyones BP and give you the No. 1 star dragonball. Dende and Nail will leave the party. Make your way back to the entrance of the cave. Save your game. A boss is coming up. Don’t bother training. Once you exit Vegeta will attack you to make you give up your dragonball. Then Zarbon appears and challenges you to a battle, and Vegeta will join your party for the fight.

This battle is easy since Vegeta has a higher BP than Zarbon , while your characters have a BP close to Zarbons. Use strong attack cards, and if you get a KI card either use Gohan’s Masenko or Vegeta’s Final Flash. When Zarbon’s HP gets low he’ll transform. He’s still easy to kill. Just use strong KI attacks. The only bad part about having Vegeta with you is that sometimes he won’t attack.

After the fight Vegeta permanently joins you. His BP is the highest of your other characters (except when Goku is in KaioKen mode). The scene then switches to five space pods landing on Namek.

The Ginyu Force

Goku continues his training in space. The training is the same as last time, so it should be pretty easy. Back on Namek, Gohan and the rest of the warriors are standing in a valley, with all the dragonballs. All of a sudden, the Ginyu Force arrives in front of them, and Ginyu steals the dragon balls, leaving the rest of warriors to fight.

This battle is a little difficult. Kill Guldo first since he is weak. Recoome can be come a real pain so use strong KI attacks to kill him. Leave some healing cards for the next boss fight.

After that tough fight your put in front of Jiece and Burter. SAVE YOUR GAME! If you try to run they’ll track you down and force you to fight. You can do that or just talk to them. And make sure you are fully healed!

These two can cause a lot of damage to you. Just concentrate on killing one of them. When you manage to kill one of them the other will fly off to tell Ginyu about your incredable powers. Use your dragon radar and head toward where the dragonballs are. Ginyu will attack you. Finally! Goku has landed on Namek and flies off to help Gohan.

Goku fights Ginyu by himself. Don’t worry because if Goku is killed it’s not gameover. You can die, or use KaioKen to bring up Goku’s BP and beat him to a pulp. Once his HP is low Ginyu will switch bodies with Goku. Concentrate on killing Ginyu first since he has a BP of only 33,000. Once he’s dead go after Burter. Beware that Ginyu may try to switch bodies with someone. If he does, use a healing card on that character and continue your assault.

After the battle Goku is put into a healing tank. The others will go to find the dragonballs. Head to the cave just to the north from where you are. Inside is Frieza. Don’t worry, he is killed easily. Gather the dragonballs and head outside. Gohan and the others will have the dragonballs placed in front of them. The scene switches to Nail and Frieza at Guru’s house. They leave to fight. Nail must lose to Frieza for the story to progress. If you have a KI card in this battle use it! There’s a chance of it hitting Frieza. Dende tells Gohan that Freeza is approaching. They take the 7 dragonballs and summon Porunga. They make their wish to bring Piccolo back to life and to bring him to Namek. If Nail managed to hit Frieza another question will pop up. Choose the first one. It’s the Porunga card. It grants you up to 3 wishes in battle. After making their wishes the dragonballs turn to stone.

Frieza the Tyrant

You must now find Frieza at Guru’s house. You will find a hole in the mountains so that you don’t have to go back through that cave. Before you fight Frieza make sure you’re lvl 45 or higher. You also want some Kami cards and Kaio cards. Now fly toward Frieza to begin the battle.

Frieza’s attacks can cause up to 200 damage to a character which means he could easily kill one of your characters. Use strong attacks and if you get a KI card use Gohan’s masenko or Vegeta’s Final Flash. After a few turns the scene will switch to Piccolo. Fly to the left where Frieza is located and go down to where Nail is. The scene will switch back to the battle with Frieza. Use strong attacks and when possible use KI attacks. After Frieza’s HP gets low he will transform.

After one round Piccolo will join with a BP over a million. Use strong KI attacks with Piccolo and Vegeta, and use Kami cards only when necessary. once his HP is low he’ll run away.

You are now in the area where you fought the Ginyu force. Go find Mai and Tsu (the two Namek warriors you traveled with earlier). Talk to them and you will be given two choices:
1. Piccolo fuses with Dende and has a BP of about 2,000,000
2. Dende stays and Piccolo’s BP stays the way it is.
I suggest the first option since Piccolo will become one of the strongest characters in the game next to Super Saiyan Goku. You’ll find Frieza in the mountains. Don’t face him yet, instead get everyones levels to about 47 or the max level of 48. Now go fight Frieza’s goons. Afterwards Frieza will transform and fly off. Now you have to fly around and try to find Frieza. This is easy since he pops up as a random battle every 3 or 4 fights. After running into him 3 or 4 times he finally confronts you.

Use strong attacks and when you get a Ki card use Piccolo’s Demon Ray. After you kill Frieza’s third stage he’ll transform into his fourth and final stage.

After a round or two with Frieza, Goku will emerge from the healing tank. As Goku fly to where Frieza is stopping at shops to get Chichi and Sachioro cards. After you collect these cards go fight Frieza. Use a KI card with a Z in the upper left corner to get Goku’s BP up to about 2,500,000. Then have Frieza kill Choazu to make Goku go Super Saiyan! Use a sachioro card to bring Goku’s BP up to 7,499,998. Now throw some Kamehamehas at Frieza and watch him die.

Another Super Saiyan!?

If you let Goku go Super Saiyan and Vegeta didn’t die you’ll get the surprise ending. A fight with Super Saiyan Vegeta!

Use a healing card on Goku and a sachioro card to make him stronger than Vegeta. Use Chichi cards to make your regular cards KI cards. Use Goku and Piccolo’s strongest KI attacks. You’ll cause about 200 to 500 damage to him. After a while you should take him down.

Congratulations you’ve beaten the game. Now enjoy the well deserved ending.
