Kreps' Mansion and Mt. Bernard

Head back to Kreps' Mansion, which is now full of monsters. Go south and around the other side of the throne room, then north and go up these stairs.
You'll eventually reach a balcony with 5 doors. Each door has some treasure behind it so check them all, saving the middle door for last.
The middle door has another boss, Sol. Do your best to avoid his shots and fight defensively for a victory.
Hurray!
Explore the newly-defrosted Guandia. When you're done, get ready to hop on this ship back to Elfas.
In Elfas Castle, talk to Rollo for a story sequence. You'll learn that your next destination is Bernard.
Sail back to Fubart, then go back to Mt. Bernard. Remember the path to the east leading to Bernard that was blocked off earlier? Now that Haman's back, you'll be able to go there.
Following that path will lead you to the mountainous town of Bernard, where you can shop, loot, and, as illustrated by this picture, learn one of the many truths of life.
Head to the cave just east of where you entered town, and enter it. If you come out near the inn, you know you're on the right track. Enter the cave near the inn and you'll reach Aburo's House, who has the Heart of Iron. In a fit of paranoia, though, he'll toss you out of your house.
If you start walking back toward Bernard Proper, you'll see Aburo leave his house. Now's your chance to sneak in!
From Aburo's house, go down the ladder and you'll end up in Mt. Bernard..
Keep going north until you go through another door. Take a quick detour to the right to grab some treasure, then head back to the main path and continue to the north.
Keep going along the path until you see this diabolical act of tyranny. Looks like you'll have to do something!
Friend?
Head north and you'll unveil this startling revelation.
You'll also have to fight Beruga, who splits himself into 5 parts, only one of which will take damage. If you have all your party members "rush" Beruga before he splits, they'll always attack the correct one, so this should be a pretty easy battle.
Guh! More villainy! Does this game know no decency!?
At least Aburo's not a jerk anymore, it seems.
