Go into the house in the lower-right section. Talk to the old lady once, and the little girl twice. |
| Talk to the flower again. Give it its 50 Malins, then stand at the top of the hole. You'll be sucked into the past. |  |

The Magic Shoes are in this chest, but you can't reach it...yet. |
| Go to the animal village and throw a plank near Rio the Armadillo. Jump on the plank and talk to it and he'll join you. He acts as a portable plank. |  |
