What's left to be done

This section used to list missing details from the game, but most of them were already solved in one way or another, so I'm just leaving it as a reminder of those game details that people keep asking about, like the Dragon Hand/Harpoon Bolt.

Walkthrough for the new USN missions available only on the PSX version of Front Mission 1st. This shrine was finished based on the SNES version, not to mention it happened way before the PSX version was released.

The infamous Dragon Hand and Harpoon Bolt. You can get them only via PAR codes, but as the original strategy guide says (it's in japanese, I got a scan of one page if you're curious), those 2 items were removed to make the game more challenging. If you think the game is really easy with the Ziege Gun, think again. You were supposed to find the Dragon Hand inside a warehouse during Mission 26, just so you know.

Some of the wanzers' names (Like Driscoll's Mir Orlen) are in Cyrillic (Russian Alphabet). For a more detailed explanation, here's what I got from FGTrapper:

Some Cyrillic letters look similar or even identical to Roman letters, such as P being pronounced as "R," H being pronounced as "N," C being pronounced as "S," and so on. Also, some letters are backwards, such as the instantly recognizable backwards R from the Toys-R-Us logo (which is pronounced "ya") and the backwards N (which can either be pronounced "eh," "ih," or "ee" depending on its place in a word; I'm not entirely sure of the rules). Many of these pronunciation rules, such as P being pronounced R, parallel Greek. In fact, it was a traveling Greek scribe named Cyril who first codified the Russian language and created the lettering system we still use today, which is why the alphabet is called "Cyrillic."

Therefore, in conclusion, Driscoll's Wanzer is known as "Mir Orlen."

Mistakes found in the translation. I've heard that some characters still talk in Japanese when they are defeated in certain missions and I have a couple of pics with mistakes I've found.

Small mistake in Driscoll's name when you revisit the Larcus Incident site.

Just after Mission 17 when the war is over, there are the 2 scenes that I suspect to have some text. I could be wrong though :P.

The untranslated Japanese string. It's basically Dr.Brown explaining he was forced by the army to continue the b-type device experiments. Nothing you couldn't guess by playing the rest of the game.

There's some messed up text after completing mission 22.
