After a quick introduction of the Hero and Lufia, the game skips
ahead nine years later. The Hero has become a soldier. He tries
to get his fellows to train, but all they do is slack off since
the world is at peace.

No one will listen to the poor Hero's belief that monsters might
come back. Hah! They'll regret that one later.
|
At least Lufia is understanding. They remember their happy childhood
and hope the Sinistrals don't come back. Lufia decides to make some
Cinnamon Tea and pie, and the Hero walks with her back to the Inn.
|
|
|
Before Lufia finishes, our intrepid Hero hears that
monsters have attacked Sheran. He decides to go help the beseiged
village as soon as possible. Lufia isn't too pleased when she finishes
the pie and sees the Hero is gone... oh well. Search the town for
items in drawers and shelves. At the weapon shop, buy a Dagger. Once
you're ready, head to the Castle. |
First, talk to the Commander in the northwestern room
of Sheran Castle. Then go upstairs and talk to the Princess. |

She'll gladly give you 100 gold to help you check Sheran.
Talk to the King then leave Alekia.. |
Fight monsters outside of Alekia until you reach level
5. |
|
|
A pitstop in Chatam will allow you to collect some items
from the fields. Talk to the people there also, and you'll learn that
they know of the rumor too. |
Before heading into the caves to Sheran, go to the northeast
and enter the cave seen in the picture. You'll be able to get 2 chests
that were unavailable in the first cave. |

|
The cave is very simple to navigate. Just head to the
northwest and up the stairs to leave. |
Sheran is in bad shape to say the least. |
|
|
The castle is virually deserted. Grab the chests, and
once you're finished searching the castle, leave and return to Alekia. |
Once in Alekia, talk to Roman, and he'll tell you that
Lufia has returned. Go upstairs and talk to her. She and our Hero
get in an argument which ends with her vowing to never forgive you. |
|
|
Head to the Castle and talk to the Commander, Princess,
and King again. You don't get too much out of the discussions really;
no one except for Princess Estea actually wants to do anything about
it. So its up to you. You're a descendant of Maxim anyway- some measley
monsters won't stop you right?! |
As you try to leave, Lufia comes out after you. She
wants to go with you. No matter how much our Hero tries to persuade
her not to go, nothing will stop Lufia from going with him. Lufia
now joins the party. Get Lufia up to level 5 around town or in the
caves. Once you're ready, head to Sheran. |

In the cave to Sheran, you'll find a man that collapsed.
Talk to him, and he'll tell you that his sister Lilah is in the castle.
He'll give you the key which will open the locked doors in Sheran.
Head to Sheran and go into the castle. |
With the Sheran Key, you can unlock the 2 doors in the
throne room. Throw the switch and go down the stairs in one of the
towers. A new staircase has appeared that leads to the dungeon where
the King and Lilah are held. |

Leave the castle, and you'll encounter Sinistral...
er Gades, Sinistral of Destruction. Our hero tells everyone to leave
and decides to challenge Gades... bad idea. |
Have some fun with this battle if you want. Don't use
any items though, you don't stand a chance. After hitting him for
a while, Gades will end this battle with a nice, solid blow to your
skull. Lufia runs in and saves you though then Gades leaves. You'll
head back to Alekia. |

Back in Alekia, Roman is surprised that you're safe
after the fight with Gades. Lufia talks to him, and he'll tell her
to go with the Hero. Now head to the castle. |
Talk to Lilah, and you'll need to take her back to Chatam
village. |
|
|
Lilah and Danil are happily reunited in Chatam Village. |
They'll tell you that someone in Treck probably knows
something. Now, onward to our next destination... |
