Guide-Walkthrough

Unfortunetly, due to the courses in the game, I cannot write a guide from the start to the end of the year.
But what can be done is give a guide to how the first month or two goes.
A few quick notes-
1-Untill you start getting big crops, On sundays, sell crops/mountian items to the flea market.
2-Try to enhance your house BEFORE the end of summer, the carpenters will throw in a free watch so you can check the time any time!(press select)
3-On the first winter be sure to go out of your ranch to get your free foal(horse)
4-On your first night out, Use your great will of patiance to go and chop wood in the forest, about 250-500 pieces will do, it saves great trouble later on.

Day1-You'll have to choose a four letter name. When you arrive, you'll be at the ranch, and along will come shipper. You will have to explore the town. Remember to talk to the florist and the stock dealer BEHIND the counter in order to recieve some presents

After you have talked to everyone, go back to shipper to be transported home.You'll automaticly go to sleep (without saving)
Day 2- when you go outside, you'll meet Ellen who'll give you your dog. You can name it, but its real name is Koro
When you look around, you'll notice your farm is a mess.

Dont worry too much about it for this moment, instead, use whatever you have of the day to go to the forest, grab the nearest fruits and put it in your shipping box to get some easy money, as you wont have much and there is not much else to do yet.
Once it gets dark, this is the time to test your patiance.
run around the whole ranch, plucking out the weeds and throwing them.
get the hammer and smash the BIG rocks.
the little ones have more use, thats why you dont destroy them.They can be used so the foxes dont break the fences, the only thing that can break them now is the cold and hurricanes

Now, up untill the twentieth, buy turnip crops. By the time you reach the flower festival, you'll have over 2000g
thats enough to buy the snowflower and buy a purfume for the girl of your dreams.
Between these times, feel free to hit on the girls of choice.
During the rest of the next two months up to autumn, do what you feel should be done, whether its buying grass to crops, do it. You'll figure out in due time how things should be done, refer to The guide to setting your day for more help.
Dont buy cows till about winter, if you can afford them, before buying livestock, get items neccesry for keeping them mainly cows, with brush and milker.
Cows and Chickens are realy good for winter, when you cant grow anything.
Remember to keep a surplus of Hay for winter, it should be easy enough if you planted a lot of grass by autumn
I suggest you use the area below your house for all your planting needs, and use the rest of the farm to grow plants.
If you use anymore of the farm to grow plants it gets real tricky looking after them all, but, hey, its your game.
Grass can only be hoe'd when its ripe, at its greenest (Its tricky to tell during autumn, but you'll get it soon.)
In order to increase your stamina, be sure to find all power berries, refer to hints and tipssection to find them all.
