Part 10 - Getting to the Moon to the Beginning of the Descent

Go into the magical ship and touch that crystal in the center of the ship and you'll be taken to the Moon.
Land here and go into this cave, there are a series of caves to reach the center tower.
From getting out of the first cave go down into this one...
Head left into the huge building. On the left and right passage ways there are healing spots for magic, status, and health, so don't be afraid to fight here and waste your MP.
Go up and talk to the guy on the stand. The party finds a whole new race of people called Lunarians who live on the Moon. They are all hibernating and their leader is FuSoYa.
He explains the history of Earth and an evil presence called Zemus. Cecil soon learns he is half Lunarian and Golbeze is his brother. Zemus has been using Golbeze all this time like Golbeze has been using Cain. Yet another interesting twist on the already complicated plot. FuSoYa now joins your party.
If you go up you will see all 8 of the moon crystals. They each have something different to say but the center tile won't let you go further.
FuSoYa has every black and white spell, but at less power than Rosa or Rydia. It's probably a good idea to go build up levels while you have him here. Stick him in the back row with Rydia and Rosa. It's a good idea to go get Bahamut now (secrets section) before heading to Earth because once you head to earth, you can't do any side quests with FuSoYa. When you land, the Giant of Babil destroys everything.
But then all these tanks and Airships help to fight against the giant.
Yang survived thanks to the sylphs...
It also turns out that both Palom and Porom have been revived by the elder of Mysidia.
Cid also makes an appearance. FuSoYa says to get near the mouth. It appears that the party is going inside it. The monsters are about the same difficulty as those on the moon.
You will have to fight the four emporers for a second time (oh joy!) Remember to save right before it at a save point. You will fight them one at a time in the order of Scarmiglione, Rubicante, Cagnazzo, then Valvalicia. They are successfully harder in order. They are really hard if you are at a low level. Be probably at least level 42 for Rydia so she has two of the Fire/Ice/Bolt 3 spells. It will be much easier if you get Bolt 3, but you have to get up to level 45 for that and that would take a long time to build up. Do this if you can't beat them.
Make sure the three magic casters are in the back row. On the first battle have everyone defend and have Rydia cast Fire 2 till death. Don't waste FuSoYa's MP. At Rubicante, do the same thing with Blizzard 2 and make sure to keep HP up with Rosa. At Cagnazzo have FuSoYa repeatedly cast Bolt 3 and with Rydia Bolt 2 (or 3 if you have it). You will take some heavy damage here so keep those HP up. Valvalicia is very hard. Have Cecil and Edge attack. Have FuSoYa and Rydia cast their highest bolt spell and have Rosa cast Cure 4 on everyone. She has this one attack which makes the party's HP go to single digits and it is quite hard to recover from.
This is an incredibly easy battle if you do it right. Since the defender heals the main part every round for 3000 HP whack it until it dies. Don't kill the other small bot or the main part will do some serious damage. Have Cecil and Edge whack the main part (long time) until it dies then kill the remaining piece. Have Rosa cast Cure 3 every once in a while when needed. You can try to cast stop on the other little bot so it doesn't hit you but it almost never works.
After the battle, you meet up with Golbeze again but this time FuSoYa tells him who he is. Then both of them leave. The Giant is about to collapse but then Cain comes in and saves them.
The party discusses whether or not to let Cain fight with them. I mean he did screw over the party like 4 or 5 times. After a very pointless scene with Rydia and Rosa leaving, you end up on the moon again. This is the last time you can do all that other stuff, to get call spells like Odin or Slyph, so go get them. Head back to the castle area where you found FuSoYa in the beginning.
Now you can step on the center tile in the crystal room to be transported to the final descent to the center of the moon. A good list of supplies would consist of an insane number of cottages (like a 100 or 200 in case you want to build up a ton of levels down there), your best swords to throw at Zeromus, like Avenger, and a ton of Hell Winds and Shurikens.
