Glitches

Equip any stealable weapon/shield

This will allow any party member to equip any weapon or shield that Edge can steal. Make sure, on the options screen, you have the "active battle" option selected. Then, have Edge target an enemy and have him select the sneak command.
Now, quickly, enter the item menu with the character who you want to equip the weapon/shield with. If you entered the item selection screen before Edge stole the item, it won't be grayed out, even if the character wouldn't normally be able to equip it.
Now, just select the item, and scroll up to the equip screen and you'll be able to equip it!
The item will be equipped on the character until you de-equip it. Be careful, once it's de-equipped, you won't be able to equip it through normal means. You'll have to repeat the process all over again.

Double any weapon/shield

This will allow any weapon or shield in your inventory to be doubled. You can use this to give Edge a second Masamune, or get lots of swords for Edge to Dart, or you can clone weapons and sell them for profit. First enter a battle, and go into the item selection screen of the character who is equipped with the weapon/shield you want to double. Now, select an empty space.
Now go up to the equip screen at the top of your inventory and select the weapon or shield you want to double. This will de-equip the item.
Now, run away from the enemies, ending the battle. Go to the equip menu and re-equip the item you just de-equipped. You'll notice that it says you have two of it equipped.
De-equip it again, and then re-equip. You'll be equipped with it again, but there will also be another one in your inventory. Repeat this as often as you like.

255 of any weapon Cecil can equip (using the Avenger)

This will allow you to multiply any weapon Cecil can equip by 255. All you need, is a bow, some arrows and the Avenger sword to get started. Make sure Cecil has the bow and arrows equipped, with the bow in his left hand and the arrows in his right.
Have Cecil enter his Item Menu in battle, and have him de-equip his arrows, by going to the equip menu at the top of the item list, selecting the arrows, and then selecting a blank spot in your inventory.
Now, go back to the equip menu, and have him select the bow he has equipped...
Replace the bow with the Avenger Sword, so he ends up with the Avenger equipped in his left hand.
Let the now-berserked Cecil kill all the enemies. When the battle is over, check his equip screen. There are strange symbols in his right hand...
Un-equip the Avenger Sword. Now, find the weapon you want to have 255 of, and equip that in Cecil's right hand.
Un-equip the weapon you just equipped, and you'll have 255 of them (that's what the strange symbols mean)!

255 of any weapon any bow-user can equip

This trick is similar to the last trick, but it's more versatile, since it can be used with anybody who can equip a bow and arrows. It's also a bit more difficult... And you'll need to have somebody who knows Berserk in your party. To get started, equip the person whom will end up multiplying the weapon with a bow in his/her weak hand, and arrows in his/her dominant hand (note that the person who's equipping the bow can't be the one who will be casting Berserk later).
The person with the bow and arrows MUST have his/her turn IMMEDIATELY after the Berserk caster. Make sure that's the case, then have the spellcaster select Berserk, and then target the person equipped with the bow and arrows.
This is the hardest step. Hopefully, you followed my advice, and now it's the person with the bow and arrow's turn. QUICKLY, open up the item menu, go up top to the equip menu, and un-equip the arrows. You need to do this before Berserk gets cast. Having a blank spot set aside at the top of your inventory is extremely helpful. Do NOT exit out of the item menu. After Berserk gets cast, it will exit out of it automatically for you.
Let the berserked character finish off the battle. Head to his/her equipment menu, and you'll see the strange symbols... Unequip your bow.
Now equip the weapon you want to multiply onto the hand with the symbols on it.
Un-equip the weapon you just equipped. You should now have 255 of them. Hurray!

Get the Crystal of Darkness without breaking a sweat

This one's really easy (and really cheap). Immediately after Rydia re-joins as an adult, cast the warp spell. This will take you back into the Dwarf Castle crystal room you were just in. Now you can just grab the crystal, which is (mysteriously) still there. I've heard this will allow you to bypass the Sealed Cave completely (I've never done this myself, so I don't know the consequences of this down the road. Try it at your own risk.).
