Excalabria and Hastings

If it looks wierd, don't worry, it is in ruins,
remember? The music here gives me the creeps.
Talk to this old man. He is Knute. He says that
he was one of King Erik's most faithful servents. This
is Erik's Brithplace. Knute asks to see the rings. He
then notices that the Ring of Earth is a fake. He then
says to go back to Swaffham and get the real Ring
of Earth. Fly back to Swaffham.
No matter how fast you go, it is too late. Swaffham
has been destroyed by Cartahena. Go talk to the
King who is near death. He says that they took his
treasure (the 3 Crystals maybe?) and the real Ring
of Earth. Head back to see Knute.
Knute cannot believe it. He says that there are 3
Rings left, (Sun, Earth, and Power) and Tsarkon
has them all. He says that Erik can get information
in towns along the way.
Rest up and save in Wyclif. Time for a little sidequest
again. Go west and south from Excalabria. Follow
the path and the Secret Cave should be right there.
Here is the map to this cave. If there is a locked
door, use the Secret Key. The cave has many doors.
This is the only other treasure in the Cave, the
Death Sword. It is similar to the Dark Sword, and
when you reach level 31, you can use the Ultra
Strength trick with this. Exit the cave, rest and save
at Wyclif. Once you return to Excalabria, go east
When the map disappears, go left (north) at the fork
and do the same with the 2nd fork. The Old Man
will show up again and give you a map of the area.
Now you can make your way east to Hastings. The
road is not too long, so you shouldn't have much
trouble.
Hastings at last. The Last Town, the Last Restort,
the Last Inn, the Last Spell Shop, the Last Church,
the Last Item Shop (ok, enough lasts already).
The town is full of information. This man tells you
about Titania's Mirror. He buried it under a tree in
Excalabria.
Talk to this man to find out about something. He
says that somebody who you thought was an enemy
is truely a friend, who stole something only to craft
it into something more powerful. Can you remember
somebody stealing something? Malaga maybe? The
item shop owner? Remember that he took your
sword? That is another place to go to.
This man used to work in Swaffham. He wonders
if the treasure he hid in the weapon shop he worked
in is still there. You just need 1 more piece of
information to continue.
There are 4 men who escaped Excalabria 18 years
ago and worked for King Erik here at the church.
This man says that Erik can get a pass in Barrow
to Cartahena. You now have the 4 things for the
gathering of the items. Now there is just 1 thing left
to do. This next step is optional, so feel free to skip
it if you want. Just remember that you cannot use
the Invincibility trick if you do not take this sidequest.
Talk to this woman and she will serve Erik a meal
and talk to him. Leave and people will say that Erik
looks a bit ill. Under your STR screen, Erik's
condition will be poisoned. Before going to the
church, or using Toxios, let me tell you that this is
a poison that cannot be cured by those means. Go
back to the woman and she will say that she
poisoned Erik, and that Tsarkon will be pleased. She
then disappears.
Talk to the people and they will say that the cure for
that poison is the Digot Plant, which is in the Whisby
Cave, east of Hastings. But there is no maps for it.
Just use my World of Vermilion map and go east to
the cave, when you are ready. Buy Sanguio and
Terrafissi at the Spell Shop. Buy a Topez Jewel,
Banshee Powder, and some Medicine while here to.
Rest up and save. Follow my map to the Whisby
Cave.
The first thing that you want to do is to find the
Digot Plant. It is quite easy to find. Turn around
after entering and lighting up, and go forward. Take
a right, and then another right to the stairs. At the
2nd floor, follow until the fork. Take a right and
follow until you can turn off right before going left
again. Take the stairs and the Digot Plant should be
right there. Take it and use it right away. Now that
the poison is removed, time to explore. Click here
for a full map of the Whispy Cave.
If you follow the path you took to get to the Digot
Plant, you will come up on the Map to the 1st floor.
Go back to entrance area. Instead of going right and
right from the entrance, go right and left.
The map to the 2nd floor is here. Take the stairs
to the right of it.
Now this is what you are really after. The Old
Nick Armor lies here. It is cursed though, but for
the invincibility trick, this is your armor. Get out of
the cave, rest and save at Hastings. It is time to
gather the items.
