The first thing you want to do in Parma is to see the
King. He will not give you his Ring of Sky unless you
bring him the Treasure of Troy from the cave to the
east. You may also notice that guards will not let you
into one room. Maybe later. |

Talk to this man to get a Map to the west of Parma,
where people say is lots of treasure and experience. |
Talk to this man for the map to the Cave of Troy.
He is in the house near the gate of town. |
|
|
Now comes another fun part, Books of Spells. I
recommend Ferros if you don't have enough for
Sangua, the HP healing spell. If you get Ferros, make
sure to ready it in the Magic Menu. Press 'A' in battle
to cast the spell. Rest at the Inn. Save at the Church.
Head west to gain money and experience. |
After you get back from your trip west, buy the
Ferros or Sangua Spell Book (whichever you didn't
get last time.) Also, make sure that you get a Sharp
Sword. This Sword will be you strongest sword for
a long time. Do not sell your Bronze Sword just yet.
Buy a Lantern and sell your Candles. The Lantern
does not burn out like the Candles, and lasts only 1
time in a Cave, so as soon as you exit the cave, it is
gone. Also, buy a Gnome Stone. |
|
|
When you get to the Cave of Troy, instead of going
in just yet, take the route south and west. You will
eventually end up here, where there is the Dark
Sword. Do not equip it, but if you want, go for the
Super Strength trick.
Make note that this Walkthrough is
going to go as though you never use the Super
Strength Trick. |
The map is here. Click on the link for the map
of the Cave of Troy.
There are not any good
treasure on this floor. Make your way to the stairs
over on the upper right hand side. |
|
|
This is where the map is for the 2nd floor. Make
sure to follow my map to get the 300 Kim and Scale
Armor. Equip the Scale Armor as soon as you find
it. The Treasure of Troy is in the upper right hand
corner. Once you have it, walk out (or if you are too
weak, use the Gnome Stone). |
Once you return to Parma, talk to the King. He
cannot believe that you have the Treasure of Troy.
Erik gives it to him and the King insists that he stop
his Quest and live here in Parma. If you refuse, he
will demand it until you give in. Exit the castle. Rest
at the Inn and exit town. Well, try to, but it seems
that you cannot leave. Why not pay the King another
visit? If he still says nothing, go out and come back.
He says that he becomes rather beastly when he is
bothered... Wonder what that could mean? |
|
|
Your first Archmonster is the Blue Dragon. As long as
you are in your corner, he cannot touch you. You
cannot use any spells while in an Archmonster battle.
To kill this beast, wait for his head to drop. Start
getting closer and when it raises its head, take a few
slashes at it, and move back. When it lowers its
head, slash away, back up, and slash again when it
raises its head. Continue until it is dead. If you have
Super Strength, it will only take 1 hit to kill. When he
dies, he leaves 500 Exp. and 500 Kim. |
Now that the King of Parma is dead, you can now
enter the room that the guards were blocking. Enter
and talk to the man there. That is the real King of
Parma. He says that that Fake King was a
Cartahenan Monster (well, duh). He asks Erik to
settle down here in Parma. Say no and he will tell
you to go east of here, past the Cave of Troy to
Watling. He also gives you the Ring of Sky. |
|
|
Talk to this guy again and he will give yo the Map
to Watling. To get there, go east. |
The road is a bit long. You will run into a man in
your
travel that says that Watling does not have many
young people. Time to solve another problem. |
