There will be no enemies present in the beginning. Take this time to walk around and "Check" the two pink flowers to gain two Cure-alls. When that's done, move back over to the stone tiles. Have one character stand on the left one and the other on the right one. An entrance will pop out of the ground. Have Tia check out the door. She'll say she needs some time to get it open, so it's up to you as Fron to hold off the waves of Kobolds that will pour down from the top of the screen, three or four per wave. The enemies are no stronger than they were in the first battle...but you are. You'll be able to take out each Kobold in two solid hits. To do this the easiest way, position yourself on the square up and to the left of Tia's position. Face the top of the screen. Hit the first Kobold who comes into range with the Sonic Boom attack (you can shoot it a few squares forward). Then hold your position where you are until a Kobold's within striking distance of your attack. From here on in, attack any Kobold that comes within reach, and heal in-between waves if need be with recover. If two or more Kobolds surround you, take out the one that's on the side closest to Tia. You'll probably kill around seven or eight of them before Tia opens the door. When she does, just walk over to her to end the battle.
