The Earth Elemental

On Day 11, you'll need to prepare to face the Earth Elemental. Buy a cloth bag from the Cloth Merchant, in order to save time. Sadly, the rest of the stuff needed won't be available until the Earth Elemental appears.

Sleep, then prepare for your next challenge. The Earth Elemental stalks the streets and alleys of Shapier, making it dangerous to manually go anywhere. Fortunately, you can use your map to go to any area instantly, so this shouldn't be a problem. The Earth Elemental usually appears at the end of long streets.

If you're a Fighter or Thief, you'll need one more item to defeat the Earth Elemental. Fighters have to head over to the Adventurers' Guild, where Rakeesh and Uhura will tell about Rakeesh's battle with the Earth Elemental. Ask about Soulforge, and you'll get his sword. Thieves have to head to the Apothecary and tell about the Earth Elemental. Harik will hand over the Powder of Burning.

Now that you're all stocked up, walk around the streets of Shapier until the Earth Elemental shows up (he's the big, grey thing). Fighters have to fight him; if you got Soulforge, he'll go down in a few hits. Wizards can cast Flame Dart at him until he dies. Thieves have to throw powder at him until his days as an elemental end.

Now he's nothing more than a pile of dirt on the ground. However, it's not over yet. He can still reform himself if given enough time. Walk over to his remains and get the dirt. You now have his life essence. He won't be back for a LONG time!

Now that you have the Earth Elemental's essence, a new quest is open. Head over to Aziza's house to begin it. If you missed that part in the walkthrough, go here and read through. Anyway, ask about Julanar to hear a sad tale. That's your next mission, though.

Note: If you're a Fighter, go back to the Adventurers' Guild a day after beating the Earth Elemental. Uhura will have recieved a note from somebody that's impressed with your fighting strength. They'll keep their eyes on you...
