Framed?

Upon arriving at Athletown, speak with the humble citizens to learn... huh? Jack and Ryu are hated in this town! Whaaaa? Why? Let's figure out why, exactly!

Enter the first building in town that doesn't have a big "S" sign beside it. Here resides Oly, the head of the Futureland Sports Committee. After telling you his name and status, he immediately starts screaming at you and blaming you for stealing his Gold Auraball. But we would NEVER do that, would we? Something must be up...

Time to do a little sleuthing around town. Check the stairs near the bottom right section of the town to find the entrance to a sewer canal. We'll be visiting there later, unfortunately! For now, visit the building in the upper-left corner of town to speak with B.B Virgo. At last, someone is on our side!

B.B challenges you to a draw-a-higher-card-than-her mini-game. It costs 100 Sen to play, and it is required to move on with the game. Once you draw a higher numbered card 5 times during the game, she admits defeat and gives you the MAGIC WIND spell! She also tells us that there are evil Jack and Ryu clones at work in this town! That would explain everything! However, we are not exactly ready to be battling these clones, so we are going to work on that.

First and foremost, walk over to the Athletown Item Store. Buy the BB HELMET, and if you missed the NINJARMOR, purchase that too. Also, if you can afford it, purchase the MAGICMINE spell.

Now we are ready to head back to Horizon Gate. Providing you took my advice earlier and didn't stop at any Convenience Stores, head back into the building in the top-left of the town with the "S" sign beside it. This will monorail us back to Computown, and from there, we will exit Computown and call Bigbot to fly to Horizon Gate.
