Characters
The Magic Knights
Hikaru
Hikaru is the "leader" of the Magic Knights, if there is one. Her element is fire. She's the first one to learn magic, and is completely attack-oriented. With exception to the short time a certain powerful NPC is in your party, she will always hit the hardest. |
Umi
Umi is the group member voted "most-likely-to-kill-Mokona." Her color is blue, her element water. She's the mid-ground between Fuu and Hikaru. Her attack is always decent (and she doesn't seem to miss as much as Hikaru), her attack magic is decent (strangely enough, she ends up having the best single enemy-attack spell), and she even learns one spell that doesn't fall into the attack category, ruining Fuu's monopoly over it. |
Fuu
The gentlest of the group, Fuu serves as the healer. Her element is wind. Her attack power will always be the lowest, and that goes for hit points, too. However, she'll have by far the highest MP and great multi-enemy attack spells, along with a full complement of healing and defense magicks. |
The Mashin
Celes
A blue dragon. The Mashin of water partners up with Umi. |
Windam
A green four-winged bird. The Mashin of air, partnered with Fuu. |
Rayearth
A flaming wolf/lion. The Mashin of fire, partnered with Hikaru. |
Everyone Else
Clef
The 500-year-old (or so) who looks about 10. Makes magic available to the Knights and gives them their armor. |
Mokona
Standard anime puffball. That little form conceals great power, like the ability to whip cabins and boats out of nowhere. |
Presea
Apparently something of a sadist (concerning Mokona), she also dances to make weapons. |
Lafarga
A master swordsman loyal to Princess Emeraude. |
Princess Emeraude
The master of the realm who supports Cephiro through sheer strength of will. Recently kidnapped by Zagato. |
Zagato
Main villain of the story. Was the high priest of Cephiro until he kidnapped Emeraude. |
Ferio
A youth you meet in the Forest of Silence. Digs Fuu. |
Ascot
A child summoner who worked for Zagato only because it was the only place he was able to be with his friends, the monsters. Until... |
Caldina
A dancer/illusionist who works for cash. Another not-so-evil villain. |
Alcione
A former pupil of Clef's, Alcione works for Zagato out of love for him. You'll see why this just doesn't work. |
Inouva
Zagato's right-hand man. There's more to him than just that, though. |
