Stage 1

Stage items:  Gas Mask, Hammer, Torch, Ice boots
Here is where it all begins.  You are being chased by lizard men up to the end of a cliff.  They easily break your sword, and then Babylom appears.  You are then taken to another cliff by a mysterious light.  You then get your sword and shield.  Now the game starts.  Make your way through this floating continent and you will run into Garsten who is being accosted by wolves, but his flame attack wipes them out like they were nothing.  He will talk to you a bit, then take off.  Go up, and you will be on a crumbling platform. (no, you can't die here. It's all on auto.)  After that, go up and use the jump panel, and you'll be in front of a cave.  Don't go in it yet!  Cross the bridge and go to the next screen.  Take the treasure chests if you need them.  Next, go up and fight the Lizard men to get the gas mask.  Now, go to the cave by the bridge and Garsten will appear and join you.  You will now be able to enter the cave since you got the gas mask.  Now, go up and look for a bunch of pillars. Go through those and get the hammer in the chest.  The next room will be dark, but you will still be able to see yourself as well as any enemies.
make your way until you reach another room that appears to be outdoors.  Use your hammer on one of the walls on the next ledge to get the torch.  Now, go down into the door below.  Now you're in the room where you first came inside the cave, except you're on another platform.  Go all the way down and use the jump panel and hit the wall with your sword to get the Ice boots.  Now you can walk on the lava.  Now, make your way back to the area you were just on. (after the room with the torch) and go in the door below. Take a left and go up into the next door.  Now, just run across the lava while avoiding the walls of flame that come out the sides.  Take the treasure chests, and go in the door to fight the golem.
