Potion List and Guide


Potions are created by combining an empty bottle with a reagent. Simply click on the reagent and right-click it over an empty bottle. This will make a simple potion in the color of the reagent. To mix more complex potions, you simply click on a potion and then right-click on another one. If it is not a viable combination, or it is too strong for your skill level, it will explode.
A potion's power is equal to the potion-maker's Alchemy skill plus the power of the reagent. When mixing potions, the potion's power will be the average of the mixed potions. (For example, if a blue potion with a Power of 10 is mixed with a red potion with a Power of fifty, the resulting purple potion will have a Power of 30.)

Red reagents are used in healing potions.

Gray

Gray potions are the exception in potions: they can be mixed with anything. However, mixing a gray potion does not change the properties of the potion, except for it's Power. The potion will take the power of the catalyst: thus you always want to mix potions with more powerful catalysts.

Potions


Simple Potions

Simple potions are created directly from reagents. ANYONE can create a Simple potion, and without the Alchemy skill, the Power will be dependant on the Power of the reagent only. All Simple potions are worth 5 Gold Pieces.

Complex Potions

Complex potions require the Alchemy skill. They are created by mixing simple potions. All Complex potions are worth 50 Gold Pieces.

Layered Potions

Layered Potions require Expert level Alchemy. They are created by combining Complex Potions with Simple or Complex Potions. All Layered potions are worth 150 Gold Pieces.

White Potions

White Potions require Master Alchemy to mix. They are created by mixing a Layered Potion with a Layered or Complex Potion. All White potions are worth 750 Gold Pieces.

Black Potions require Grandmaster Alchemy to manufacture. They are created by mixing White Potions with White, Complex or Layered Potions. All Black Potions are worth 2000 Gold Pieces.
