Bobbery
Bobbery, the Bob-omb sailor, is a resident of East Rogueport. However, ever since the untimely death of his wife Scarlette, he tends to be a bit of a hermit, and he has been in hiding ever since, and will remain so until he puts his past to rest. By pressing Y, Mario can throw him forward, and he will explode, which can destroy weak walls and activate switches. If he explodes on an enemy, the battle will begin with him performing his "Bomb" attack.
Bobbery's Moves:
Initial Moves: |
Bomb |
0 FP |
Bobbery walks up to the first enemy and explodes on it. |
Execute a Timed Hit by holding A until the gauge fills up to the A, and then releasing it. By doing this, you'll increase the Attack Power. If you don't do this at all, it will do no damage. |
Execute a Stylish Move by pressing A just as Bobbery lands on the ground after exploding. |
Bomb Squad |
3 FP |
Bobbery throws three bombs, which explode a round later. |
Timed Hits aren't performed in the conventional matter, but by pressing A when the cursor is where you want, you can aim when you throw the bombs. If you wait too long, they'll be thrown on their own. |
Execute a Stylish Move by pressing A when the third bomb is at the apex of its arc. |
Super Rank Moves: |
Hold Fast |
4 FP |
Bobbery gives himself "counter" status, which means he'll return half damage to any enemy who directly attacks him. |
Execute a Timed Hit by pressing A each time a big star lights up. Each time you successfully do this, you'll add an extra round for Bobbery to be able to counter attacks. |
Execute a Stylish Move by pressing A just before the compliment ("Good", "Wonderful", etc.) appears. Use approximately the same rhthym as the stars were lighting up to hit it properly. |
Ultra Rank Moves:
|
Bob-ombast |
9 FP |
Bobbery explodes with a lot of strength, damaging all enemies. |
Execute a Timed Hit by rapidly tapping A to fill up the bar. The closer the gauge is to being filled, the more powerful the attack will be. |
