Swaffham to Excalabria

You will hear in town the the King is a very greedy
man. So go check it out. He says that he will not
give Erik the Ring of Earth for free. He then says
that if you get the White Crystal from the Ivory Cave,
he might consider giving the Ring to Erik. Then he
tells Erik that the Dark Demon guards the White
Crystal, but he says that it should not be a problem
for a hero like him. He then gives Erik the White
Key, which opens the Ivory Cave.
Swaffham has everything (well, not everything,
because like Tadcaster, it is missing an Inn). Buy a
Royal Sword and Diamond Armor at the Equipment
Shop. Buy the Diamond Armor, or suffer later. Don't
worry about the Carmine Shield yet, you just got the
Dragon Shield. There is nothing worth getting at the
Spell Shop. Fly to Wyclif to rest and save, then fly
back. There is no map to find, so I will have to
guide you to the Ivory Cave.
To start off, go south from Swaffham. When you hit
the fork in the road, go east and just follow the
road until you see it vear off going north.
This old man is going to save you a few times for
the rest of the way. He will give you a map of the
entire aread around Swaffham, leading to the 3
caves. Head to the Ivory Cave, which is just south
of here.
If you go right, right after you use the White Key
to unlock the door, you will find the map. Waste time
with the Ivory Cave map, just click the Link. There
are no other treasures here, so what you want to do
right now is go to the other gate at the left part of
the cave and enter it. Make sure to heal before
entering, for the Dark Demon awaits you. I am
This is one of the toughest battles you will ever have
in this game. It took me about 10 tries before
learning his patern and killing him. Here is the way
to kill him:

When you first get control, quickly move right. The
Dark Demon will fly right over Erik. Wait for him to
fly right, then back up. As it is landing, take a slash
and then move back to the corner. He will then move
on you, and it will hurt. Just keep slashing and he will
soon die.
Once he dies, he leaves 15,000 Kim and 10,000
Exp. Grab the White Crystal and get out of the
Ivory Cave, and back to Swaffham. Erik gives
him the White Key and White Crystal. The King
says that he thought about it, but decided against it,
but if Erik can find the Red Crystal, he may
reconsider. He then mentions the Blood Demon
who guards the Red Crystal, but again, he says that
he should be no match (yeah right). Rest and save
at Wyclif. Fly back and go to the Ruby Cave, which
is west of Swaffham, and then south.
Just go straight ahead after unlocking the door. Like
the last cave, there are no other treasures. But, it
is still confusing to navigate, so click on the link for a
map to the Ruby Cave. Here is where the map to
the 2nd floor is. You want to enter the gate to the
right. Heal up before entering, the Blood Demon
awaits.
Here is the Blood Demon. This one is just as hard
as the last one, but can hurt even worse. Use the
same plan as you did the Dark Demon and you
should be all set. When dead, it will leave 20,000
Kim and 15,000 Exp. Grab the Red Crystal and
head back to Swaffham.
The King has one thing left for Erik to do. He wants
him to get the Blue Crystal from the Sapphire Cave,
which is guarded by the Gray Demon. He then
gives you the Blue Key. Rest and save at Wyclif.
Head west of Swaffham to reach the Sapphire
Cave, the largest cave in the game.
This cave will take a while. Once the door is
unlocked, take the north path. The map to the
2nd floor is here. The Map to the whole
Sapphire Cave is here. Now go back up the stairs
from where you came. Take the south route now.
Take the stairs at the lower-left side of the floor to
reach the 1st floor again.
The map to the first floor is here. Go back down and
take the stairs at around the 2nd floor. Go around
the room at the 3rd floor and take the stairs to the
4th floor.
Here is the map to the 4th floor. Go left from there
to go to the 5th floor.
The map to the 5th floor is here. Take the stairs that
you saw while getting the map. At the 4th floor, take
the lower stairs down to the 5th floor. In the room
on the other side of the cage is the Critical Sword.
Get it. It is 2nd to the Sword of Vermilion. Go back
to the 4th floor, and take the other stairway to the
3rd floor.
The map to the 3rd floor is here. Take the other
stairs to the 2nd floor. Before entering the gate,
heal up, the Gray Demon awaits.
The Gray Demon is even stronger than the last two,
but not any tougher. Use the same strategy while
fighting him and he should die real easy. The Critical
Sword should do more damage. By now, Super
Strength is getting less useful, but just wait a while
longer, and then you can get Ultra Strength. When it
dies, it will leave 25,000 Kim and 20,000 Exp. Grab
the Blue Crystal and head back to Swaffham.
The Kings greed shows here. When Erik asks for
the Ring, the King gets mad, until Erik reaches for
his sword, and then the King, in fear, gives Erik the
Ring of Earth. Talk around town a bit and they will
say that they are surprised that the King gave you the
Ring of Earth. Also, people will say about a city
near here was destroyed by Cartahena about 18
years ago. An old man says that to get there, you
have to go through 3 caves. Rest and save at Wyclif.
If you want to get the Carmine Shield, get it now.
You may not have another chance.
The road to the caves are tough, and there is no map
to guide you. To get there, go the same way you
went to get to the Ivory Cave, but go west instead.
Go until the you do not have a map. Take the road
going south and enter that cave.
The map to the first cave is here. Don't worry about
the lower level to this cave, there is nothing but
another map in there. If you want the map for all of
the Excalabria Caves, click there. Take the other
stairs out.
Follow the trail until you come to a fork. Go right and
follow that. Guess who is waiting there? If you said
the old man who gave you the map before, I give
you 1,000,000 Whose Line is it Anyway? points.
Just like on the show, the points don't matter. Enter
the 2nd cave.
The map to the 2nd cave is here. Nothing else here,
so take the other stairs out of here. 1 Cave left.
The last cave is here.
Go around the first floor to the lone stairway (look
at the map I provided). The map to the 2nd floor is
here. Do not worry about the rest of the cave. By
now, you are probably getting weaker (unless you
leveled up). Do not fear, it is almost done. Just take
the stairs above where the map is to the 1st floor.
From there, go left at the fork and follow to the exit.
This is the town of Excalabria (Erik's hometown).
