An Old Friend?

Okay, we've entered the Sphinx. For a resistance base, there sure are a crapload of enemies running around! Fortunately, the way up to the top is simple and straightforward. Follow the path up to the 2nd floor, then follow another path to an ominious open door.... go on in to meet the leader of the Resistance.... who is none other than.... Blu Boltar?

Yep, it's Blu Boltar! Once an emperor kidnapping enemy of Jack and Ryu, but now he's a resistance leader? Well, apparently he's been floating around in space thinking about life, and landed here, where the people voted him into the resistance as the leader. Cool! Even better news is that he gives you the VITALIZER spell and a BOO BOMB to blow up the door to the Royal Tomb! Yeah! Now head back to Egymid, rest at the Inn and restock on Sweet Buns, and when you're ready, go to the Royal Tomb door in the northernmost part of the city. Stand about a tile away from the door, then select a Boo Bomb from your items to blow up the door.
