There's a Hole In the Bottom of the Sea....
|
Now, head back to Water World. Stop by the little house by the seaside if you want, but only if you're feeling lucky. B.B Virgo runs a roulette house, and allows you to bet random amounts of Sen to win double, triple, or even five times your bet!
Done gambling? Then head to the dock to descend into the deep. Right beside us lies Flotown. Go on in! |
Welcome to Flotown! Do the people look unhappy? As you probably would have guessed, they are. A very evil man by the name of Kung-Fu Master Puma has blown a hole in the ocean floor, which is causing the great ocean to slowly, but surely, drain away to nothingness. Sure, this sounds like a daunting task, but Jack and Ryu can help plug the hole, right? There is a way, but we'll need the wisdom of a certain townsperson to figure out what to do. Talk to everyone to gather miscellaneous information, and then visit the shell house in the western part of town to speak with the fortune teller. The very powerful mystic tells us exactly what we need to do; go find Ragyu and then visit King Wood. Why? You'll see. The kind Fortune Teller gives us an Errandbot to help us out. |

However, there's a few things we need to pick up at the Item Shop. Go on in and purchase the COMET PUNCH and the SHELL SHIELD (you may need to go out and fight for more money). These are by far the best shield and punch in the game, and if you follow the previous "optional" step of my walkthrough, you should now be optimally equipped for the remainder of the game. Excellent. Now head back to Robo Star; we'll ride the Milky Rail back to White Castle.
When you reach White Castle, speak with Ragyu. He will agree to help out. Next, we head for Wood World again. |
To get to Wood World, we're going to take an alternate, but quicker route. From White Castle, go south back to Desert Star, and use the Spaceboat Port from there. We're now out in space, but in an area we are a little unfamiliar with. That's okay; it's easy to reach Wood World from here. Fly directly south from the planet, past the floating temple (we will go there much later). Keep going until you hit the wall, then fly east. Use my map if you wish to locate Wood World a little easier. Head back through the Lost Forest, and back to the World Tree. Speak with King Wood. He has an excellent idea; uproot a tree and plug the hole with it! Good thing you brought Ragyu and his immense physical strength with you! |

Now back to Water World. Walk back to Flotown, and try to beat up some enemies along the way; you're gonna need to level up a bit for the trying times ahead, most specifically the incredibly difficult Fort Mars. I would suggest getting to about Level 30 for now, and then some more after that. Anyway, head to Flotown. What we need to do is get to the hole in the ocean floor. It's fairly easy to find using the map I made. All you have to do is drive the sub there and Ragyu will plug the hole. Then, it's back to Water World. Speak to the mermaid near the entrance to get the QUASI RING. |
