The Forest Bridge

A very short stage with a few surprises in hold. Shadow Elves, for instance.
The scantily-clad sorceresses make a return as well. Give 'em the old magic missile treatment or just evade when possible. Two them appear, so watch out accordingly.
Here we have the main reason this stage is so simple and short. A GREEN DRAGON. You don't have access to any anti-dragon equipment yet so work it out with what you have; Steel and magic! Hammers are excellent, as they both stun and damage the dragon. The breath has the same effect; Damage and a stun effect, giving the shadow elves that inhabit the place opportunities to nick a few cuts into your hide. You should spam your attack magic to great effect, as Elf and Mage regain spells after this fight. Multi-attack spells should keep those Shadow Elves in check too.
The Large Burning oil technique isn't available yet, so use your characters' Anti-Air moves as the dragon does the breath attack. With spells and anti-airs, it shouldn't be much of a problem to finish with much damage taken. This tough battle isn't without it's rewards; You'll skip one Manticore (although skip cleric spell regeneration) and three boring levels of a huge tree this way. Only to make your way to a certain bony friend quicker.
