Dagger's
Real Name

At the beginning of Disc 4, go to Madain Sari with Dagger in your party. On Eiko's back porch, speak with Lani, who will run away. Leave the town and form a party without Dagger or Amarant in it, and return to Eiko's back porch. Speak to Lani twice. Read the message, and then go to the Eidolon Wall. Walk to the right (clockwise) from the entrance around the wall until you hear a small sound, like a chime, which should occur just after you pass the ! icon. Then turn and walk to the left (counter-clockwise) until you hear the chime. Make this trip nine times, reversing directions each time. After the ninth, you should receive a message saying that your HP and MP have been refilled, and all status conditions have been removed. | |
| Now walk around the room and examine the artwork on the walls. You can look at the drawings in any order, but make sure to look at them all. (You can read a couple of messages to Eiko on the wall.) Then go back to the Ifrit drawing and read the new message, which will tell you Dagger's actual name. If you really want to know what it is, highlight the contents of the blue box below. |  |
