Actidinia Leaves In Leo's Lab, equip it and walk into the large room on the first floor with two cats and a mouse. The cats will follow you out of the room, and the mouse will let you enter his mousehole. Talk to the plant on the second floor near the model towns.
Big Pearl In St. Elles in Oceania, enter the sleeping dolphin's dream (he's in the same room as Lue), equip the Pearl, and talk to him inside the dream; you can open a passage to some treasure. Go in front of the dolphin at the far left of St. Elles and he'll swim you to the chest holding the pearl.
Black Stone You need it to enter the World of Evil. Given to you by King Magridd in Magridd Castle after you release him.
Blue Stone You need it to enter the Mountain of Souls. Given to you by the Mermaid Queen in St. Elles after you release her.
Brown Stone You need it to enter GreenWood. Given to you by the Mayor in Grass Valley after you release him.
Delicious Seeds Give to the squirrel in the top right treehouse in GreenWood to get the Psycho Sword. Found in a chest in the Water Shrine in GreenWood.
Door Key Lets you open the bottom left door on the first floor in Leo's Lab. Equip the Dream Rod and talk to the cat on the second floor.
Dream Rod Lets you enter the dreams of people and objects. Used many times throughout the game. Found in a chest in Underground Castle, west (Grass Valley).
Emblem A One of eight needed to receive the Magic Bell. Has the sign of the Sun. Return to Leo's Painting with the Zantetsu Sword and beat the Metalpuses. Then head back to town and go to the bottom right, down the ivy, then walk left and go up the ivy. Walk left to pick it up.
Emblem B One of eight needed to receive the Magic Bell. Has the sign of the Sun. Check in a treasure chest in the Torture Room in Magrid Castle.
Emblem C One of eight needed to receive the Magic Bell. Has the sign of Venus. Talk to the second squirrel (at the top right) in the rightmost treehouse in GreenWood.
Emblem D One of eight needed to receive the Magic Bell. Has the sign of Mars. Once you've used the Big Pearl to open the secret passage, go to the seabed and into the cave at the top left. Head to the left side and follow the new passage to a cave. Beat the Hermit Crab lair here to reveal a chest with the emblem.
Emblem E One of eight needed to receive the Magic Bell. Has the sign of Jupiter. In the Mountain of Souls, walk through the wall near the start and talk to the snail to get it.
Emblem F One of eight needed to receive the Magic Bell. Has the sign of Saturn. Hidden on the ground in Lake Lune near the Mountain of Souls.
Emblem G One of eight needed to receive the Magic Bell. Has the sign of Neptune. In Leo's Lab, go to the chest of drawers in the lower left on the first floor and push it to the left. Walk to where it used to be.
Emblem H One of eight needed to receive the Magic Bell. Has the sign of Uranus. After beating the boss in Magrid Castle, head back to town using the teleporter. When you out of the room the teleporter is in, step on the one title section of grass on the castle side of the bridge. You should receive Emblem H.
Goat Food Talk to one of the goats in the pen in Grass Valley and it'll take you for a walk. Nothing much comes out of that, though. Talk to the son of the Tool Shop owner in Grass Valley.
Green Stone Needed to enter Oceania. Talk to the Forest Guardian in GreenWood after releasing him.
Harp String Give to the singer in the house in Magridd Castle to get a soldier to move; go to where the soldier was to pick up the Platinum Card. Examine the upper right skeleton in the Torture Room in Magridd Castle.
Leaves Equip it to convice the rafts at the end of Fire Shrine that you are from GreenWood. Check the bones of Turbo after you enter the bird's dream.
Leo's Brush Equip it and talk to the painting in the top right house in Grass Valley to enter Leo's Painting. Once you've been through Lisa's dream in Grass Valley, return to Underground Castle, east, and beat the Plant Man lair to reveal a chest with the brush.
Magic Bell Equip it and you can use magic without using up GEMs! Once you've collected all eight Emblems, go to GreenWood. Talk to the deer at the lower left twice and he'll ram a tree and bring a jewel down. Talk to the jewel to get the bell.
Medical Herb If you have this equipped when your HP reaches 0, your HP will be completely refilled, but the Herb will disappear. If you pick one of these up when you already have one, your HP will be automatically refilled right there. All over. You can usually get an unlimited supply from somewhere in the "village" area.
Mermaid's Tear Equip it and walk to the top of the volcano in Durean (in Oceania) to freeze the magma and let you walk over it. Talk to the mermaid in the right side room of St. Elles palace.
Mobile Key Equip it and go to the steering wheel in the airship in Magridd Castle to get it to move and start the boss fight. Given to you by Dr. Leo.
Mole's Ribbon Equip it and talk to a mole guarding another mole inside a hole in GreenWood. He'll disappear and let you pick up the Shield Bracelet from the other mole. Talk to the mole aboveground and let her follow you into the middle of the three mole holes. Follow her down to see a chest with the ribbon.
Mushroom Shoes Equip this and you won't slip on the ice in the Mountain of Souls. Talk to a boy south of the entrance in the Mountain of Souls.
Pass Equip it and talk to the boy guarding the cave east of the mill in Grass Valley to get passage through the cave. Go to the bottom right of Grass Valley, then left. Push the sleeping tulip to the left and go to where it was to find the pass.
Platinum Card Equip it and the soldier guarding the Left Tower in Magridd Castle will let you through. Give the Harp String to the singer in the house in Magridd Castle; a soldier will move. Go to where he was standing to pick up the card.
Power Bracelet Equipping this will double your attack power. In a chest in the top-left cave from the Oceania seabed.
Purple Stone Needed to enter Magridd Castle. Talk to Marie, the doll, in Leo's Lab, once you release her.
Red-Hot Ball One of three Red-Hot items needed to call the Phoenix. In a chest in the World of Evil.
Red-Hot Mirror One of three Red-Hot items needed to call the Phoenix. Once you get the Spirit Sword in Magridd Castle, return to the Light Shrine in GreenWood and beat the Spirit Ball lair to release a bird. Approach it from the back so it doesn't fly away, and you'll get the Mirror.
Red-Hot Stick One of three Red-Hot items needed to call the Phoenix. Once you get the Zantetsu Sword in Leo's Lab, return to Durean in Oceania. Beat the Metal Gorilla lair to release a mermaid in the ocean palace; talk to her to get it.
Shield Bracelet Equipping this will double your defense power. Equip the Mole's Ribbon and talk to the mole in the middle of the three holes in GreenWood. He'll disappear; talk to the mole below him to get the bracelet.
Sliver Stone Needed to enter Leo's Lab. Talk to Nome in the Mountain of Souls jail once you release him.
Strange Bottle If you have this equipped when your HP reaches 0, you won't lose all your GEMs when you revive. Only use as a last-last ditch plan, and only when you have no Medical Herbs. Found throughout the game.
Super Bracelet If you have this equipped, your attack and defense will be doubled. Once Queen Magridd is out of the way, go to where she used to stand in the top right house to find the bracelet.
Thunder Ring Allows you to summon the Wraith of the Master by touching a stone block on Blester Island. This lightning can destroy the Metal Gorillas that are normally invicible to most weapons. Once Lue and his dolphin friend are free, they will give you this ring as a reward.
VIP Card Equip it to gain entrance into the Right Tower in Magridd Castle. Talk to Queen Magridd after you release her and tell her she's pretty.
