Special Attacks
The development of your special attacks and the method of obtaining new ones in this game is kind of different then traditional RPGs. First there are certain requirements which must be met before you gain the ability to use the attack. These vary from skill-to-skill. Some require the mobile suit to be at a certain level while others require a certain number of points allocated to a specific stat.
Once you gain the ability you'll notice that there will be a percentage below its name and that it won't show up under CLOSE during battle just yet. This is because you must press the attacks button combonation to use the attack during a close range battle in which you exchange blows with the enemy (I'm sure you know what I'm talking about). If you successfully input the combo the attack will be executed and the percentage will go up. Once the skill has reached 100% you will be able to use the skill whenever you like.
Skill | The attack name. The name is shown how it appears in the game. Below each Japanese I have supplied a translated name.
| Button Combo | The button combination that must be pressed within a set time in order for the attack to be successful. |
Growth Rate (Only applies to CLOSE attacks) | This is the percentage that is added to the total percentage everytime the attack is successful in damaging the enemy. |
Requirements | What you must do/have in order to be able to perform the attack. The Pixy Gundam doesn't have a requirements section because you should have all of these when you start 0080 if you leveled-up the RX-78-2 Gundam. |
A-Gun Skills |
Skill | Requirements |
| The RX-78-2 Gundam/Guncannons must be at level 6. |
| The RX-78-2 Gundam must be at level 13. |
| The RX-78-2 Gundam/Guncannons must be at level 16. |
| The RX-78-2 Gundam must be at level 20. |
| The Guncannons/Guntank must be at level 6. The Guncannons in 0080 do not have this skill. This is the only A-Gun skill that the Pixy Gundam has available to it. |
