Thanks!

First and foremost, I apologize. I began work on this shrine in September 2002, and today, as I write this, it is March 2004. This shrine has taken much, much too long to construct and put together, mainly because of the slump I have been in lately. I apologize for holding up the shrine, for the people I promised to make this shrine for, and to all the people I have lashed out at and acted horribly around. I'm very sorry for what I have done for pretty much all of 2003, everybody; but I promise I will make up for it.

However, this shrine is hardly a last minute rush job. I have worked long and hard on it, to not only bring this wonderful game to light, but to challenge myself as a shriner. I've fallen into slumps a great deal of times, but I have also had times where I worked myself harder than I have ever known. Vanguard Bandits is probably the most difficult-to-shrine game I have covered, and has taken me a great deal of thinking and studying strategy guides to present my strategies in the way I did. I really want to know what you think of this shrine; how helpful it was, how informative it was, how entertaining it was. I went all out and tried to make this shrine enjoyable to look at and read, with pretty pictures and text, and I love feedback; positive or negative. Please email me and tell me what you thought of this shrine.

Anyway, here are the kudos, in no particular order. Not all of them are people, by the way.

Hiryuu: For helping me through what was a really tough time, encouraging me and reinforcing my belief that some of the best titles out there are the obscure, sleeper hits like this one. He also assured me that people actually read my shrines. 8P

Ryuuhi: For his excellent Xenogears shrine, which I originally wished to model this shrine after.

Crotanks: For being one of the few people I know that plays this wonderful title, and for encouraging me to finish it off. Thank you so much, and enjoy your rest break; you've earned it.

Walhalla: For her excellent Grandia II shrine. The Walkthrough there is an absolute joy to look at and read through, and that's what I modeled my Walkthrough after.

Sarah: Our friendship began way back in January 2002, and since then it has blossomed into so much more. We have experienced many special things together, along with some very trying times. But you were there for me, and I was there for you. I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you.

Rare Hunter: Aside from being the first Vanguard Bandits fan that I met (except my brother), you've been encouraging me to finish this shrine and do this game justice. And here it is, my friend. Enjoy the fruits of my labour, and give the game another playthrough (or 5!) for old time's sake.

Tyler: My brother, I can't thank you enough for being there when I needed a pick-me-up. Your encouragement kept me going, and helped get me out of this slump I've been in. I know if anyone enjoys this shrine, it will be you. Thanks for keeping me sane, and despite what you might think, I LOVE playing multiplayer games with you! P.S: Hamada is the GREATEST! 8)

The Offical Vanguard Bandits Player's Guide: I ordered this wonderful tome off of Working Designs for the statistical information, and I must say the presentation of the data and the quality of the guide surpassed any guide I have ever seen. I recommend it to anyone, not just for strategy, but just because it's so darn nice to look at.

Coffee and Cola: For keeping me up until 1:00 so I could shrine on weekdays and not be too tired to work the next day.

The 386 computer in my room: Sure, it's not too capable, but it's the only computer I have that's next to a TV. Most of this shrine was typed up on that old relic.

The RPGC Staff: Aside from the aforementioned people, you all had a hand in helping me create this shrine. Cidolfas, RoguePaladinTrian, and Hiryuu, your dedication to shrining is what inspired me to begin. Sinistral, Hiryuu and Cless Alvein, you were the ones who kicked me in the ass and got me to concentrate on what I was doing, and not to spread myself thin. Merlin, your incredible dedication to RPGC is an inspiration to us all, and has kept me going on more than one occasion. 984, Cloth Hat, Rirse, Charlemagne, and Tenchimaru Draconis, thanks for making RPGC a funny and friendly place. Weiila, being around your cuteness is certainly a reason to stay on the staff, but I also admire your passion for writing good fanfiction. Sohee, Kagon and Skankin' Garbage, I don't know you three too well, but I consider you friends nontheless, and I work hard to please those I care about. Last Cetra, thanks a whole lot for sending me that file I needed for my brother. Everyone on the staff has helped me out in some way, and you are all a wonderful bunch of people that I am very happy to be a part of.

There are people who are not on-staff that I owe thanks to as well, namely Evangelion, Fenril Knight, and GG Crono 4 from the RPGC Agora. You guys are the greatest friends a guy like me could ask for.

I would like to dedicate this shrine to two people, namely:

Tyler: My brother, I can't thank you enough for being there when I needed a pick-me-up. Your encouragement kept me going, and helped get me out of this slump I've been in. I know if anyone enjoys this shrine, it will be you. Thanks for keeping me sane, and thanks so VERY much for taking all the screenshots for the walkthrough; they were greatly appreciated! Thanks for being my brother, and despite what you might think, I LOVE playing multiplayer games with you! P.S: Hamada is the GREATEST! 8)

I would also like to dedicate this shrine to Chris MacDonald, A.K.A Kao Megura. Your recent passing away is a tragic event, and the millions who have read and enjoyed your works at GameFAQs are saddened by your death. Your works are an inspiration to FAQ writers everywhere, and I would like to dedicate this shrine to your undying passion for writing excellent FAQs and walkthroughs. Rest in peace, Kao. You will live on through your contributions, even in death.

And finally, thanks to you, who has taken the time to hear me say my piece. Thanks for visiting, and thanks for playing Vanguard Bandits. I really hope my shrine has helped you get the most out of the game.
