Discs
Discs can be equipped on Swordians. They add to their attack power and usually grant spells as well. The Discs with names let Swordians use extra spells, and those whose names are made up of numbers give none (but the attack power is usually way better). For the discs whose names start with SP or SW, the first three numbers are the Slash power, and the last three are the Thrust power. Whenever you get a new disc, check and see if your Swordian is now stronger than your currently equipped weapon!
Discs are almost totally unique (extras can be found in the Tower of Druaga, but you don't usually need more than one of each). They can't be sold, either.
