The Goddess
Tower
When you cross the bridge
and enter the Goddess Tower, and enter the inner foyer, you'll be given
a hint as how to activate the teleporter in the middle of the room. Start
in the southeast corner and walk over each switch in a clockwise fashion.
The order is White, Red, Blue and Black. Do this, and then enter the middle
section of the room via the doors in the middle of the north and south
hortizontal hallways. Step on the pad to proceed.
You find yourself in a cross shaped room.
The idea here is the same, walk onto each switch (which doubles as a teleporter)
in the same order. White, Red, Blue and Black. Stepping the Black Teleporter/Switch
(given the correct order) will bring you back to another cross shaped
room with another teleport pad in the middle of the room. Step on it to
proceed.
You will now find yourself in the lower
half of a room shaped like a sideways Star Of David. The 4 teleporters
in the room are in the following Locations: Blue - Northwest, Red - Northeast,
White - Southeast, and Black - Southwest. The order you need to visit
them in is Blue, Black, White, Red. Each pad will lead you to a platform
holding a chest and a switch. Flip the switch and collect the chests on
each platform to unlock the next portal and gain a Sage's Robe, Spook
Armlet, Detonator Armlet and an Insane Sword, respectively. Upon flipping
the last switch (the Red one), you'll find the teleporter to the Next
Floor in between the Blue and Red Switch pads in the star-shaped room.
Once you see, take it.
This will put you in the last of the outer
steppes to inner portion of the Goddess Tower. The order you want to hit
the switches in this room are: Red, Black, White, and Blue. Step on them
in the appropriate order and then takes the massive new staircase in the
South of the room to the teleporter in the middle.
Now that you have made it
into the Inner portion of the Goddess Tower make use of the nicely provided
Statue of Althena just above you. Traversing the Goddess Tower is very
simple. The only thing in the way of barricades are floating triangular
polygons. Simply lure the Tank Enemies into them, much like the Albino
Baboons and the Ice Pillars in the White Dragon Cave so long ago. Along
the way you'll nab 3 chests, containing 2 Silver Lights and the Spirit
Talisman.
Once you reach the 8th Floor, you'll meet Xenobia
once you walk up the stairs on to the carpet. Save your game, and heal
if you need to before walking onto the carpeting. Before fighting Xenobia,
i suggest being Level 53-54, but you -can- beat her at Level 49-50 if
you do it right. When you are ready, head up the carpet to spank the chesty
villianess.
Once you confront Xenobia, she doesn't
want to fight you, instead, she casts a rather cruel spell on everyone
that forces them to confront thier worst fears. Just when everyone is
ready to submit to thier fears, Nall shows up and encourages everyone.
Choose the answer "You're right Nall...", and everyone breaks
free except for Alex. Xenobia takes the time to mock everyone about that
fact, and then the scene cuts back to Alex. When you gain control of Alex,
the only way to break Alex free of his mental prision of to walk towards
Luna. When you get to her, Alex breaks free and Xenobia, being the crabby
hotty she is, attacks you.

The Xenobia
has 4 attacks. The 1st attack, is called
Chaos Wave which is a nasty electrical
attack that hits everyone for serious damage and can be indentified when
she has a green electric beam between her hands. The
2nd attack, can be identified when she crosses her arms in front
of her face. She uses Sonic Boom and
send out a beam of energy that hits anyone in the horizantal area before
her. This attack stones the target. You have 1 round to cure them before
they become totally stoned.. The 3rd attack,
called Aura Shot, can be expected
when her arms are outstreached. This attack damages anyone in the blast
radius severely. The 4th Attack is
her version of a melee attack, which fires off some
unnamed energy attack at one or two
characters .
Your fight with Xenobia isn't all that disimiliar
from your fight with Royce. Alex should use
Vigor and Sword
Dance every round after. Kyle should
use the normal Power Up and then Power
Slash. Nash should just flat out
use Thunderbolt and have him give
periodic support to Jessica in the Healing Department if someone gets
hit by Xenobia's Sonic Boom attack. Mia should
flat out use Flame Bomb. Jessica,
in round one, should cast Saint Litany.
Then, make darn sure EVERY round you heal EVERY character EVERY round.
This fight should be quick, but hopefully
you should be around Level 50-53 to make it quick. heh.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Upon defeating Xenobia, everyone
finally figures out that she was love in with Ghaleon. Nastah. This is
your final chance to save, heal up, etc. cause once you ascend the following
corridor, there's no going back. I would highly recommend going back into
the Tower and building up your party to be over Level 55 before fighting
Ghaleon. When you feel ready, go meet him,
but make sure you have every last Star Light and Healing Nut you have
in your party's inventory.
When you enter the chamber,
you find Ghaleon carrying out the last phase of his wretched plan. Read
the heated discussion and then watch the anime scene...and then get ready
for the fight of your life.

The Ghaleon
has 6 attacks and ALL of them are
2 attacks at once and one is 3 attacks at once!!! The 1st
attack, is a melee attack against
1 or 2 characters for moderate damage and can be indentified when his
hands are sparking with purple electricity. The
2nd attack, can be identified when he had his arm outstreached
and his hand is surrounded by blue energy. He's going to use Hell
Wave and send out a beam of energy that hits anyone in the
horizantal area before him AND THEN follows it up with a Rock
n' Roll spell. The 3rd attack,
called Fate Storm, can be expected
when he is holding a purple ball of energy in his hands. This attack instantly
causes 1 character to die, as well as also summoning Chaos
Shield which absorbs around 740-770 HP of damage before crumbling.
The 4th Attack can be expected when he is
floating his hands inside his cloak. He's about to unleash Inferno
and Nitro Dagger on you in successive
order. Attack #5 comes when he's holding
his hands on his hips. You can expect him to cast Tornado
and Worm Crush...in that order, both
do heavy damage. Lastly, Attack 6. This comes
when he lands on the ground and you can expect him to use Siphon
Soul which is like a high powered Drain Spell, and it gets
followed up by 2 Melee Attacks.
Your fight with Ghaleon is going to be a
long one unless you are over Level 75, so make sure everyone has a variety
of Healing Items equipped including Silver Lights, Star Lights and Angel
Tears. Also, if you haven't done so, equip Mia with the Dragon Cane to
raise Wisdom score and thus her Magic Damage. Use the following strategy
for the best chance of winning.
Alex should use Vigor
and Sword Dance every round after.
However, if Jessica falls behind, be ready with a Dragon
Healing Spell, and aslo; if Ghaleon is gonna cast Fate Storm,
have Alex cast White Dragon Protect.
It will save you the trouble of ressurrecting a party member. Kyle
should use the normal Power Up
and then Power Slash. Nash
should just flat out use Thunderbolt
and have him give whatever support to Jessica in the Healing Department
if needed. Mia should flat out use Flame
Bomb. Jessica, in round one, should
cast Saint Litany. Then, make darn
sure EVERY round you heal EVERY character EVERY round. And if her and
Alex do thier jobs right, no one should die, even if they may come close
it.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Once you beat Ghaleon, he
collapses on the floor. You now have but one Final Task...save your woman.
So explore Ghaleon's broken body and talk to everyone before ascending
the stairs. When you start up the stairs, Luna issues a warning to leave
and rains lightning on you! Not good, and what's worse, Ghaleon gets up
and mocks you before finally passing away.
To make it up to Luna, start
up the stairs. She'll fire those bolts at you every so often as warnings
to turn back. After she fires the FIRST ONE at you, PLAY ALEX'S OCARINA
or she'll whack with one of those bolts about 10 steps from the end and
you'll have to do everything over again...so PLAY IT. When you finally
reach the top watch the killer finale to the game...and have a box of
Kleenex handy.
