Head to Camellia Desert. I know how much all y'all like money bags, so go to the southwest corner of the first area, hit the switch, and you'll be rewarded with one. |
Go up and to the left. You'll leave, but it'll open up another exit. Re-enter and throw your sword at the switch you can't reach. A path to another money bag will be opened. |
See? Guide your way to the northwest corner of all the swirlies for the aforementioned money bag. |
Now head to the southeast section, you'll find more swirlies. To cross them, just try to use momentum. Like when you are moving in the direction you want, try to move in that direction. |
You'll happen upon a block-pushing puzzle. Before you tackle it, however, it would be wise to slash all the dirt piles out of the way. |
Push the far right block up 1 space, and the far left block up 2. The middle block doesn't need to be touched. |
Now just push the red block right 2 spaces, up 1, and right until hit touches the fuse. Now slash it and move on! |
When you reach the field of whirlies, head up, and then to the right and you should find the area pictured here. |
Follow this path until you reach this field of spikes. You're going to explore the spikey area, so throw your sword at the dirt clods so you can do so safely. |
North of the spikes is an Apple of Life. |
Since you probably don't want to go all the way back the way you came from, just head south of the spikes and hit this switch as a shortcut. |
Go back to the whirlies, and go to the right. When you reach stable ground, throw your sword at the switch to open the way. You'll then come across one of the most shameless self-promotions ever. (It spells out "ATLUS", the game's publisher) |
South of here is a spike field. To navigate safely, just jump from hole to hole. In the lower-right corner of the spikes is a money bag. Now go south of the spikes to continue. |
...Another block pushing puzzle. Yay. |
Push the two blocks touching the red block down, then press the upper-most block all the way to the right. |
Now you'll see a path forming that leads to the fuse. Push the first block you encounter to the right, the second to the left, and the third to the right, then push the block touching the fuse down. |
Now just push the red block to the fuse, slash it, and Voila! |
Head south and you should come across this area. Through your sword up and to the left with Cecil selected to hit a switch. |
Now go up, then to the left and follow that path, and you'll find steps that lead to an animal village. |
If you have 100 Malins to spare, you can hire Batty, who'll make you invincible for 10 seconds before disappearing. |
If you go to the area to the left, you'll arrive at an abandoned town and temple. There's nothing you can do here, don't worry about it. Head south of the animal village for the exit. |
Head to Babel Tower. When you get inside, go up the express elevator on the right to get to the top. |
Hmmm, a rope, maybe we should climb it? |
Like most things in life, the rope turned out to be a string monster. Just avoid its attacks (avoid his arms by staying directly below him as far down as possible) until its heart is exposed (after the 8 energy blast attack), then attack. He has 8 HP. |
